I’ve been on a folklore and legends binge since the end of 2024, adding myriad collections of short stories to my bookshelves over the holidays, spanning local myths from my countryside county of Devon, folklore from all over England, weird and wonderful horror tales of Japan, eerie tales from North America, and ghostly tales from Korea. It’s safe to say I’m open to reading any sort of folklore from anywhere in the world because I find these sorts of stories fascinating....

I was told that for my preview ofWanderstop, I was allowed to discuss anything up to a specific narrative moment about 40 minutes to an hour in. Summary Six years after its launch,Kingdom Hearts 3doesn’t have the best reputation. While I’m in the minority of people who do love the game, I can’t help but be annoyed by the mistranslations throughout. They aren’t always game-changing mistranslations (unlike a certain Chain of Memories error), but they’re still enough to cause a disconnect between the Japanese and English versions. Riku’s character arc in particular suffers due to a mistranslation in an important scene in KH3....
