A Cure For Rage is a siide quest in the Galawain’s Tusks region ofAvowed, and one you can either stumble on at random or be led into while searching for a missing merchant, Gilyn. Either way, you will find that the merchant is being held captive by a huge ogre, and are then left with a choice.
If you so wish, you cansimply fight the ogre, which leads to combat. You’re fighting a lot in Avowed, so that’s a pretty straightforward outcome. However, as the name of the quest implies, there is apeaceful option, which involves findingthree ingredients for Grakohr the Ogre.Let’s look at where to find them, shall we?
Where To Find Anti-Mycotic Moss
TheAnti-Mycotic Mossis one of three ingredients needed for A Cure for Rage, and can be found at the southern edge of the circle that marks the quest. It’s atapproximately five o’clock if you think of the circle as a clock face.
When you arrive, there’s a rising crest of rock with apetrified treeat its peak. Headup the rocksand at theroots of the tree, the moss is bunched together. Youwill face combat in this area, but these are just regular Galawain’s Tusk spawns, nothing related to the quest, so youucan gather the moss then flee if you want.
Where To Find Jar Of Gunpowder Snuff
TheJar of Guunpowder Snuffis the easiest of the three items to find, as its marker takes you to avery specific location. It’s in theSouthern Warden’s Towernear the Sallow Steppe region of the map where you meet Grakohr. Justhead inside and find it on a bookshelf.
This tower isalso where the cartographer is forMapping The Living Lands - Galawain’s Tusks.
Where To Find Calcified Fire Beetle Nest
TheCalcified Fire Beetle Nestis the final ingredient (though you can get them in any order), and if we go back to the clock metaphor, it’snot quite at nine o’clock if the big marker circle was a clock face. Head here, and up against the wall you’ll find a cluster of those very calcified fire beetle nests you’ve been looking for. Gather them up, and head back to the Ogre’s den to hand them over.
With all three ingredients, return to Grakohr and offer the supplies. At this point, he will free his captive, offer you aStoneheart Amulet(which lets you summon a Small Ruinous Blight),and the quest will be complete. You did a good thing today. Unless you fought him. Then you’re just bad.
