Following Nora’s interview with Swann in chapter 17, we return briefly to the present as Autumn and Swann work on remembering a song the four of them made together in 1995. Chapter 18 ofLost Records: Bloom & Rage, sparks the beginning of their plans to stage a concert to perform their song.
In this chapter there are plenty of choices that can either change the details of the story, or alter your friendships with Nora, Autumn, and Kat. So be sure to buckle up and pay attention as we go through every choice you can make in this chapter.

Discussing Nora
This chapter starts us off in the present, where Autumn says to Swann,“I did kind of piss all over Nora’s dreams of being a rockstar, didn’t I?“You can either support her, or confront her.
You were just looking out for her.
Autumn approves.
Autumn then talks about howNora is this big-time fashion influencer now, to which you can respond with:
I can’t really relate.
Autumn transitions the conversation to the package. She mentions thatseeing “Bloom & Rage” on the package brought back memoriesof their song. When she asks if you remember the song, you may tell her"I wish I could remember our song.”
If you look at the package before answering, however, you’ll unlock a second option where you say"I’m worried about the package.“Autumn will be neutral to either option.

After youmove to sit next to Autumn, you’ll be transported back to 1995.
Remembering The Curse Song
You’ll be in the forest near the cabin with the girls. Kat tells the group to follow her. You can ask:“Where are we going?“or stay silent. All girls are neutral either way.
If you wait long enough, Autumn will say “coming!” to which Nora responds with “That’s what she said”, and you’re able to then reply to Nora by laughing. If you choose that option, Nora approves.

From this spot you’re able to grab footage of a bird for the Birds! Memoir. Just look to your right with your camcorder andzoom in on a bird perched atop a birdhouse.
Before you sit down with the girls, they’ll start talking aboutsomething weird about the trees here. Kat will ask, “But, what?” You’ll be given two standard choice options, followed by a third if you have a good enough relationship with Kat.

A prank?
Maybe it’s your wendigo, Kat? (unlocked through friendship with Kat).
Kat approves.
If you choose to sit down too soon, you’ll skip this choice andpossibly lose out on a positive response from Kat.
After you join the group in the circle, Kat asks the group"have you ever wanted to lay a curse on someone”. Your response here will be remembered andchange something about the story later.

Who would you curse, Kat?
I’d curse someone.
This will be remembered.
Kat eventually starts talking about how she wants to curse Corey, so she wrote a song for them that’s alsoa curse against all the people who’ve ever wronged them.We then time-warp forward to the present, where Autumn startsremembering the first lyrics of the song.
You will be prompted to choose whether the curseis about vengeance or justice:

The curse was about vengeance.
This will be remembered, and you’ll hear a memory of Kat saying “We deserve vengeance.”
The curse was about justice.
This will be remembered, and you’ll hear a memory of Kat saying “We deserve justice.”
Autumn says the first line,“I should’ve put up the red flag…”. Then, you get to choose the second line:

“That you were gonna be a drag…”
“That you would be a fucking drag…”
This alters the lyrics of the song.
Whatever you choose, you’llgo back to 1995 as Kat continues the curse song.
Sealing The Curse
Kat continues to tell Swann and the others about the curse song she wrote. Then she says it needs to be sealed.Kat and Nora both cut their fingers with a knifeand touch their cuts together. Autumn refuses, and if you wait long enough before making a choice,present-day Autumn tells you a story of her brother being HIV-positive, which was a huge scare in the 90s.
I… I can’t.
Back at the bar with Autumn, if you tell her “Maybe it worked.”, you’ll get anegative response from Autumn. But if you say “We were so reckless”, she’ll agree with you,but her response will be neutral.
Autumn will then invite you tolook at the lyrics she wrote downfrom their curse song. After you’re done,Nora will show up.
Nora Arrives
Nora sits down across from you, andafter she says “Remember me?“you can say:
I was worried.
Nora disapproves.
Nora mentions she would’ve preferred to do this anywhere but at this bar, maybe throwing a party instead. you’re able to say:
I’m just happy you’re here, Nora.
Nora approves.
Nora will get up to go get a drink, triggering a time-warp back to the girls in 1995.
Autumn, Kat, and Norawill sing the curse song while you record. After you do your three recordings of the spellsong, continue the scene by selecting “that was so good!”
They’ll start singing again andKat will say “you, too, Swann”. You can either sing along with them, or stay silent.
Stay silent.
Kat is neutral, but says “Fine, I’ll start.”
Back in the present, Nora returns with her drink and a soda for you.She then offers a cheers. You can choose:
Cheers! To us!
Nora decides she wants to talk about their lives now before diving into the past. When Nora says to Autumn"I thought you’d never leave music behind"you can say:
Autumn never cared for fame (unlocked during the Autumn interview chapter).
A lot changed after that summer, Nora.
Autumn approves, Nora disapproves.
Nora mentions thatSwann is so hard to find online. You can either say that you’re not into social media, or that you’re just living quietly in Canada.Either way, the response is neutral.
Nora then pulls out pictures of her wife and kids.No matter which option you choose, Nora will approve, but will be neutral if you say nothing.
Got anything above a size ten?
So, what happened to music?
Retrieving Your Phone
Gus will eventually let you know that yourphone is done charging and you can come get it.
After you get up from the table, before walking away, turn around to look at Autumn and Nora for thechance to reminisce about them both. Nora and Autumn will also continue talking to each other while you stand there.
If you sided with Autumn during the ritual, you’ll hear teenage Autumn thank Swannfor backing her up and that she didn’t feel so alone.
At the bar, you have the chance for anoptional conversation with Gus and Pam. If you choose to talk with them, this will open up a few more choices, one of which can have consequences.
Pam will askif you’ll ever move back to Velvet Cove, to which you’re able to say:
I’d come back here for my friends.
Neutral
Pam will ask if you and your friends eversaw something weird back in the day. you may say:
My friend saw a Wendigo once (unlocked through friendship with Kat).
I don’t remember.
Neutral.
Gus tells you thatPam likes to investigate the supernaturaland sometimes ropes him into ghost hunts. You can say:
This will be remembered, and the conversation will end naturally.
I should get back to my friends.
This exits the conversation.
Once you finish talking to them, you can go back to the table. If you linger, they’ll keep talking to each other for a few minutes, butno more choice options will open up for you.
When you sit back down,Autumn will be busy responding to something on her phone. You can say:
How does it feel being back, Nora?
Your office loves to bother you, huh?
As Nora talks, the scene will end, and you’ll be time-warped to 1995 at the beginning of the next scene.
