How To Make Memoirs

Swann loves to make home movies, and as her guide, you’ll direct the camera to take the best footage. To successfully make a memoir, you’ll need tocapture the set number of clips requiredfor the tape to be ready.

You can see this number in the top left of the capture box, next to the name of the memoir.

Most subjects canonly be captured once, though there tend to bemany more subjects for the collectible tapes than needed. Each onecounts for the scene total, but you only need to use the set number for the memoir.

Memoirs areautomatically put together using the available footageyou’ve captured. You canview them any time from the camcordermenu. Below, you’ll find all the available memoirs and what chapters you can film them in:

From there, you canreorder the existing video or swap out additional scenesto make the perfect memoir. Save and exit, thenwatch your brand new director’s cutto hear Swann’s commentary.

How To Delete Footage

Excess footage can bedeleted by using the correct inputdisplayed at the bottom of the screen when looking through the camcorder menu. you may delete any footage you’d like, including additional clipsthat can be used for memoirs.

Once footage is deleted, it cannot be recovered

If you want to play it safe, use the junk tabto scroll through excess footage. When you choose to delete it, you’ll geta prompt that lets you know if it can be usedin a memoir. If not, there’s nothing you may use the video for except your own amusement, so it’ssafe to delete.
