Monopoly Goknows what you need: pickaxes - and lots of them. While the Greek Treasures event is about to end, with the Origami Fold-Off event, we’ve been given one more chance to earn those glorious pickaxes. This is a one-day leaderboard tournament that is set to run from1PM EST on January 19to3PM EST on January 20.
As is typically the case with this style of event, you’ll be looking to land on Railroad tiles to earn more points than your competitors. However, with 130 pickaxes being up for grabs you’ll have every incentive to do just that. Get rolling, Monopoly Go Fam; this is our last chance to unearth those treasures!
How To Earn Rewards In Origami Fold-Off
To earn points for the Origami Fold-Off leaderboard tournament, you’ll need to try andland the four Railroad spacesplaced around the game board. As is typically the case, you’ll earn more points for Bank Heists than Shutdowns. The greater the success you experience, the more points you’ll earn.

Unlike in yesterday’s Clay Heyday event, you’ll notice that the point totals you’ll earn in the bank heists are a little lower in the Origami Fold-Off event. On the plus side, they are lower for your opponents as well, and this is still a competition, after all.
With this being our last chance to assist Sofia beforeher most recent Monopoly Go expedition ends, our focus will squarely be on those 130 pickaxes up for grabs. While the point payouts are a little lower for this event than they did in Clay Heyday event, since this is only a one-day leaderboard tournament, you’ll only have to clear 40 milestones to grab all the rewards. Moreover, you’ll only need to get to the 30th milestone to acquire all the available pickaxes.
But while we’re after those pickaxes, you’ll have other rewards to claim as well. That includescash payouts, flash event triggers, and more than 15,000 free dice rolls.Additionally, you’ll be able to scoop a fewsticker packs. In fact, you’ll only need to get to milestone 21 to grab all the stickers available.

The reason the amount earned is not given in the “Cash Rewards” milestones above is because they shift with your net worth. To increase your net worth you’ll simply need to acquire money, purchase landmarks, and level those landmarks up.Clearing boards will inevitably increase your net worth.
