Get ready to go fast this weekend inMonopoly Goas we round the corner into another racing event for the month of February, but watch out for all that ice! Running betweenFebruary 6 at 10AM ESTand3PM EST on February 10, Tycoon Racers has plenty of cool prizes on the line.
Your score is cumulative throughout the weekend, so whether you’ve chosen to team up with three other Monopoly Go players or are going this race alone, the races finish at 3PM EST on Sunday, and there are plenty of sweet cosmetics and sticker packs as prizes.
How To Play The February Tycoon Racers Event
Team Up, Or Play Alone
It’s a relatively new feature for the Tycoon Racer events in Monopoly Go, but we’ve now got the choice toplay aloneif you’d like to! Some players have expressed frustration with teammates who maybe haven’t held their weight in the past, and since therewards for the weekend are cumulative, you’ll want all the flags you can get. If you’re not keen on relying on other players to win prizes for and with you, playing alone may be for you.
Just keep in mind that theprizes for solo races are different, with higher-rarity rewards paid out only to team players instead of solo ones. You’ll still earn the same cosmetic pieces, but the sticker packs are different in the list of rewards for solo players.
If you’re interested in playing the event as a team, though, you’ve had time toselect three other players to join your teambefore the event begins at 10AM EST on February 7. You can invite players on your friends list to team up with, but just keep in mind thatteammates can invite friends to join the teamas well, which means your team of four may fill up quickly. Either way, team selection is solidified when the first race begins, so if you’ve chosen teammates, you’re with them all weekend.
Gather Flags From Other Events
Regardless of how you’re choosing to approach the races, either alone or with a team, you’ll still need tocollect checkered flag tokensfrom other events this weekend in Monopoly Go if you’re hoping to participate.

Participate In Three Races To Win Prizes
Once you’ve got a good number of Tycoon Racers flags on hand, you’ll want to head onto the racetrack itself andspend your flags to move your race car around the track. You’ll see three dice in a small dome at the bottom of your screen, where you can roll with a multiplier of your choice to determine how far your car will move forward. If you’ve got enough flags, it’s not a bad idea toincrease your multiplier to earn points faster, provided you’re feeling lucky with your roll totals.
Additionally,the Lucky Rocket boost returns, which allows you toonly roll fours, fives, and sixes on your next roll. It’s a good time to increase the multiplier, since you’re guaranteed a high number and the likelihood of doubles or triples is higher than normal!
Each dice roll will move your car by a set amount, and the goal is tocomplete laps around the track, as many as you can throughout the weekend. As mentioned above, you’llaccumulate lap rewards as you finish whole laps, with the requisite number of laps for the next reward displayed right at the starting line. If you’re playing in a team, everyone gets to choose their own lap reward each time one is unlocked.
Points are cumulative throughout the weekend, with three races to show your stuff and earn your Tycoon Racers rewards. Prizes for the event will be paid out at 3PM EST on February 10 when the event ends, so if you have one bad race throughout the weekend, you might be down, but you’re not out! Once the races have finished, the game will average out which teams (or players) have averaged out into which places, and then reward prizes accordingly.
The top prizes for the team races include not only a purple sticker pack,the rarest of the regular sticker packsin the game, but also aswap pack, a critical prize as we enter the final month of theArtful Tales sticker album season. For both team players and solo racers, you’ll also receive anew emojiof Scottie in a car with his face to the wind, and anew board tokenfeaturingMr. Monopoly in a cool red race carto commemorate the event.
