As with every newDiablo 4season, there is a new Battle Pass that players can work through to unlock exclusive cosmetics and seasonal blessings. Beyond farming for XP, the fastest way to get this done is through the Season Journey. Each season, Blizzard releases a new set of tiered challenges that, when completed, award Favor and caches of Legendary gear.
This season’s challenges are slightly harder than what’s come before, but those determined to speedrun the leveling process will want to get these done as quickly as possible. Use this guide to plan which challenges you plan on completing throughout the season.
How The Season Journey Works
Diablo 4’s Battle Pass is progressed throughFavor. A portion of all XP you earn is also granted as Favor, allowing you to complete the Battle Pass solely through gameplay. But if you’re looking for faster progression and some free Legendary items in the process, then you’ll want to dive into the Season Journey.
The Season Journey is a collection of Battle Pass challenges that you can complete at any point during the current season. These challenges are divided into seven tiers, each with a reward cache awaiting you upon completing the vast majority of that tier’s challenges.Overall, the Season Journey is a great way to level the Battle Pass and equip your character with stronger gear while leveling.

Chapter I Challenges
Nine of the 11 listed challengesmust be completed to access this chapter’s rewards.
Smaller Favor
Forager
Collect 100 Bundled Herbs from harvest Nodes, Cellars, or various other sources throughout Sanctuary.
Tanner’s Apprentice
Collect 50 Rawhide from salvaging armor, defeating monsters, or various other sources throughout Sanctuary.
Prospector
Collect 100 Iron Chunks from salvaging weapons and jewelry, mineral nodes, or various other sources throughout Sanctuary.
Discover the Armory to save and access builds.
Chapter II Challenges
Taste Of Power
Collect 5 Witch Powers from any Altar of Witchcraft found near the Tree of Whispers.
Notarized Nuisance
Increase your Threat Level to max by defeating monsters during Helltide.
Risk And Reward
Learn recipes of Rare rarity or higher.
Chapter III Challenges
Carve Out The Necrosis
Defeat Thralls of Rot, which can be found during Headhunts or in Rootholds.
Chapter IV Challenges
Ten of the 12 listed challengesmust be completed to access this chapter’s rewards.
Damnation’s Downfall
Defeat a Helltide Commander in Helltide, summoned after completing Helltide events.
Third Eye Open
Consume 5 Draught of Whispers to increase the likelihood of encountering Forgotten Altars and Fugitive Heads.
Defeat 666 monsters in Penitent or higher.
Gifts of The Tree
Obtain 10 caches from the Tree of Whispers by completing Whispers.
Form And Function
Forged In Blood
Craft 5 Blacksmith Caches at the Blacksmith after reaching Level 60.
Born In Torment
Defeat 10 Hellborne spawned by reaching Max Threat Level during Helltide in Torment 1 or higher.
Slayer Challenges
12 of the 14 listed challengesmust be completed to access this chapter’s rewards.
Favor
The Hordes Falter
Defeat the Fell Council in the Infernal Hordes on Torment 1 or Higher.
Complete 5 Nightmare Dungeons in Torment 1 or higher.
Preamble
Complete Artificer’s T20 or higher in The Pit of the Artificer, located in Cerrigar.
Shock And Awe
Champion Challenges
11 of 13 challengesmust be completed to unlock this tier’s rewards.
Reward
Unholy Coffers
Open a Greater Spoils of Hell chest after defeating The Fell Council in the Infernal Hordes.
Defeat 666 monsters in Torment 2 or higher.
Thorn In Hell
Defeat 666 monsters while at Max Threat during Helltide on Torment 1 or higher.
Destroyer Challenges
Eight of 10 challengesmust be completed to unlock this tier’s rewards.
Silencer
Complete 5 Whispers within 15 minutes during a Headhunt on Torment 4.

Roots Ablaze
Open 25 Exposed Roots wtihin 15 minutes during Headhunts on Torment 4.
Root Pulverizer
Activate 2 Legendary Ceremony Shrines within a single Roothold on Torment 4.
Waking Horrors
Defeat 50 elite monsters while in Nightmare Dungeon on Torment 4.
Bloodstained Hoard
Collect 750 Aether in a single run of the Infernal Hordes on Torment 4.
With Sand To Spare
Complete a T75 Pit run with more than 5 minutes remaining.
Assassin’s List
Defeat 5 lair bosses within 5 minutes on Torment 1 or higher.
Hell’s Fury
Defeat 250 monsters before the Hellborne’s arrival after increasing your threat level to max in Torment 4.
