If you’ve playedValorantfor a while, you likely already know just how important your team composition can be when it comes to the match’s outcome. Apart from requiring agents from various roles, you also need to build synergistic teams to surprise your enemies with your abilities.

Tejo is one of the few agents who can do fairly well by himself since his abilities have a lot of flexibility. However, when combined with certain other agents, he can demolish the enemy team before they even have a chance to react.

Gekko

Initiator

It’s not common to see two Initiators on the same team in Valorant, but Tejo is one of the few agents that benefit from it since he synergizes quite well with other Initiators, starting from Gekko. Gekko’s main abilities include being able to blind, concuss, and molly the enemies, and the last two are also a part of Tejo’s kit.

With Tejo’s drone alongside the double concuss and mollies, you can take any site you want very easily, even if you have a pesky Cypher camping on it. Simply molly the hidden corners, use your drone to reveal the rest, and enter with Gekko’s flash.

Fade

There aren’t a lot of agents that can force the enemies to stay in a particular area, but Fade is one of them. While using her Seize ability, you can throw a knot at an enemy that forces them to stay in the circle if they get hit. You can do this after Tejo spots an enemy with his drone.

Once the enemy is forced to stay in place while being decayed, you’re able to use Tejo’s missiles to instantly defeat him without even having to peak. Fade’s and Tejo’s ultimate combined can also easily win you the round by using the former to enter the site and the latter for post plant.

Deadlock

Sentinel

Deadlock has seen all the ups and downs of Valorant as she went from one of the least popular agents to the most. She has an incredible wall that can prevent the enemies from entering the site while also letting you get a peak and kill them if they try to destroy it while they’re standing in the open.

However, the main reason for the synergy between Tejo and Deadlock comes from her Gravnet ability. This throws a grenade that forces everyone caught in its radius to crouch. If you manage to get someone in this, you’re able to easily get them with Tejo’s missiles as they won’t be able to move fast enough.

Breach

If you know how Breach works, you’ll see some similarities between him and Tejo, with the biggest one being how similar their ultimates look, even if they work entirely differently. Breach’s ultimate throws the enemies in the air and concuss them for a long time, while Tejo’s ultimate simply destroys everything in its way.

Both of these Initiatorscan be significantly frustrating to go against, but their combination is unstoppable. You can combine both their rechargeable abilities to concuss the enemies and then molly them. You can also combine their ultimates together to leave enemies with no choices.

Astra

Controller

Astra is arguably one of the hardest Controllers you’ll play in Valorant since she has a variety of abilities that all work through her stars placed on the map. She can consume these stars to smoke, concuss, or pull enemies in, while also being able to do a small smoke when she retrieves them.

Other than being great at delaying enemy pushes, you can also use Astra’s concuss or pull-in alongside Tejo’s missiles as long as you know an enemy’s location. This will let you easily get rid of them without having to take a head-on battle.

Viper

From one difficult Controller to the next, Viper was one of the most picked agents in competitive at one point. This was mostly because of her ridiculous post-plant abilities where she could decay the enemies on the spike with her smoke while using lineups for her mollies to kill them off before they realize what happened.

And what’s better than one post-plant agent like that? Two of them! Tejo also has some phenomenal post-plant abilities with his missiles and ultimate. If you still run out of these mollies too early, you’re able to use his concuss on the enemy and peak out to get the kill.

Vyse

While Vyse might not be a popular pick to defend sites in Valorant, she finally has avaluable use when put alongside Tejo. Vyse has a special wall that stays under the ground until someone walks over it, which triggers it to come up and separate one of the enemies from their team.

Normally, this wall is easy to counter since they can bait it out or enter at the same time, forcing you to peak multiple enemies at once. However, you may use this wall outside of corner areas and send Tejo’s missiles inside once they get triggered, guaranteeing the kill on the trapped enemy.
