In addition to your classic over-the-top combos and Musou attacks,Dynasty Warriors: Originsintroduces Battle Arts foreach weapon typeyou can equip. Battle Arts are special attacks that are interchangeable for each of the weapons you can obtain and master.
Each of the Battle Arts has a proficiency requirement for unlocking them and equipping them into your arsenal. Each of your ten obtainable weapons has several different Battle Arts that you can equip to special button prompts, along with several universal skills that you can use. Each of them requires a certain number of Bravery Points to use.

This specialspear attackstarts with a spinning jump that causes you to thrust the spear upwards, knocking your enemies into the air. This can also be executed midair and strengthens any follow-up aerial attacks you execute in other combos.

Mastering this special Battle Art increases the speed with which the attack can be executed, ensuring that you may ruthlessly juggle legions of foes.

The longer you use a specific weapon type, the more proficient you become, which can unlock Battle Arts for you to equip. Shadow Rush is one of these proficiency-centered Battle Arts that unlocks after you use the Twin Pikes for a while and is a formidable ability to use.
Shadow Rush involves you charging into enemies and knocking them away at top speed. Holding the button for the Battle Art increases the number of charges, and a well-timed button press increases the attack’s strength when you finish.

You gain the Hurricane Kick Battle Art once you get to the sixth level in your proficiency with the gauntlets. It’s one of the better Battle Arts and the best to utilize with the gauntlets, making it worth the investment. This attack is mostly a series of spinning kicks that send surrounding enemies into the air.
This attack is great for covering the general weakness of using the gauntlets in harder difficulties, as it helps enable you to deliver combos on helpless enemies in the air and keep them at a distance to recover or move to the next set of enemies. Officers would also be easier to take on if caught in this Battle Art.

This is a fearsome attack forthe Twin Pikesthat can only be unlocked for you if you max out your relationship withZhang Liao, the fearsome warrior who is best known for using these weapons in the Dyanasty Warriors series. The attack applies great strength and overwhelming speed to defeat hundreds of enemies and officers.
The attack is basically you thrusting the pikes faster and faster by holding the button that triggers the Battle Art. A well-timed button press at the end of the combo also increases the attack’s strength when you finish.

Crescent bladesare a great hybrid weapon between the range of the spear and the strength of the Podao swords. This makes the weapon one of the better weapons to use in general, and the Rising Cloud Crusher is one of the better Battle Arts to use for clearing bases and defeating enemy officers.

During the attack, the crescent blade is swung upward during a jump, then comes down with a powerful downward strike. This attack sends enemies flying and slams them back to the ground for significant damage.

The Podaois a formidable weapon and is wielded by many enemy officers and the strong Xiahou Dun. It’s a great weapon for clearing armies and this Battle Art demonstrates that well. The Ardent Aura Slash infuses your Bravery points into the poado before unleashing it as a slash wave.
Charging the attack makes it stronger and gives it a longer ranger. Depending on how leveled you are, along with the stats of your weapon, this single Battle Art can clear out an army of enemies and defeat lesser morale officers from a good distance.

Claim victory without Ling Tong fleeing on Ultimate Warrior Difficulty in Subjugation of Huang Zu.

You gain the Earth Shatter Battle Art from completing the challenge of Ling Tong staying in the field during the Huang Zu campaign. In the attack, the spear pierces the Earth and causes a massive earthquake effect that sends your enemies flying.
Increasing your mastery of this attack improves the speed of your Battle Art execution. Because of the difficulty requirement and the objective of keeping Lin Tong safe, it’s a bit tough to unlock, however.
Since it is the default weapon you get, the sword is one of the more effective weapons you’re bound to be experienced with. And nothing makes you feel like you’re a protagonist from a Chinese Sword Fighting (Wuxia) film than the combos and Battle Arts you may wield with the sword.
This specific one, the Divine Eagle Dance, gives the mystical feeling of the Wuxia genre by emphasizing the fearsome strikes and choreography through a rapid flurry of attacks. These strikes also generate energy flares that envelop you before exploding and clearing out any enemies left.
The Savage Thrust Barrage takes full advantage of the strengths of the spear weapon. The attack is multiple stabbing attacks followed by one major finishing blow. It also uses a balanced amount of Bravery Points, which makes this attack much better to use throughout the battlefield.
This Battle Art demonstrates the versatile effectiveness of the spear in Dynasty Warriors: Origins. While it may not have the terrain effect of Earth Shatter, this is a great officer/crowd slayer.
The Halberdis the strongest weapon combo-wise that you may wield in Dynasty Warriors: Origins. This weapon type is also used by the mighty Lu Bu and as a result, many of your attacks and Battle Arts would have his fearsome flair.
The Dance of the Demon is one of them. The attack consists of swinging around the halberd for devastating attacks that wipe out enemies and knock away officers in a large area.
