Are your Sims in need of a vacation? There are plenty of relaxing destinations they can go to withThe Sims 2: Bon Voyage expansion. Choose from either Three Lakes, Twikkii Island, or Takemizu Village for their time off. Every location has hidden lots and treasures, so there is a lot to explore.
When you choose your destination, there are quite a few hotels or lots to stay in. It can be overwhelming to pick the best spot for your Sims, so we’ve put together a list of our favourites.
10Axe Wood Camp Grounds
Three Lakes
Is your Sim the down-to-earth, adventurous type? The Axe Wood Camp Grounds may be the right destination for them. The lot is free, as long as you’re ready to pitch your own tent and sit around the campfire.
It’s a bare minimum lot, but there’s alake to fish in, indoor bathrooms, and tables and chairs to eat on. This hotel is the most simple stay and will help your sims feel more connected to nature. There’s even a chance they will run into Big Foot if they search in the right place.
9Three Lakes Cabins
If yourSim wantsto enjoy a rustic, nature-filled vacation without sleeping in a tent, the Three Lakes Cabins are a step-up. With multiple old-fashioned cabins to pick from, your Sim can sit by the campfire or relax in a hot tub while enjoying the green surroundings.
There is also a playground if you have any little ones running around or if your adult Sims want to embrace their inner child on the swing.
8Double Palm Resort
Twikkii Island
Twikkii Island is the premiere beach destination in The Sims 2: Bon Voyage. If your Sim can’t afford the best of the best, they can stay at the affordable Double Palm Resort.
While it isn’t as close to the water, your Sims can relax with a massage, take a dip in the pool, or enjoy the outdoor bar with others. The hot springs are the main attraction at this location, as the other beach hotels don’t have them.
7Jade’s Exclusive Villas
Takemizu Village
Takemizu Village is a Far-East vacation destination for your sims. If you can’t afford the top-tier hotel, Jade’s Exclusive Villas still has a lot to offer. There are various buildings on the property, all featuring Japanese-style architecture.
This hotel offers steaming hot springs, tea tables, and a toy area for any little ones. You can even find a ninja or two sneaking around, though they can be hard to catch for a chat.
6Takemizu Village Resort
The Takemizu Village Resort is another place to stay in this travel area, and it’s a bit nicer than the previous options. If your Sim is ready to be enlightened, you have found the right spot.
Take a dip in the pool while gazing at the large bonsai pines and looming mountains, or book a relaxing massage indoors. After, sweat it out in the sauna for the perfect, relaxing getaway.
5Blau Hills Resort
If you want your Sims to visit Three Lakes in a bit more style, the Blau Hills Resort is a step up from Three Lakes Cabins.
Sims at this resort prefer sleeping inside, even if they enjoy the natural surroundings. With a hot tub, sauna, and pool, they can comfortably enjoy being outside. The looming pines and lush green grass add a relaxing ambiance as you soak your worries away.
4Twikkii Beach Hotel
The Twikki Beach Hotel is one of the more affordable options when it comes to waterfront access. Surrounded by sand and palm trees, you’ll have easy beach access and ocean views from your hotel room.
There is also a restaurant inside the hotel, so you don’t have to visit a different lot if you want to have a good meal. Everything your Sim could want is right there in one place.
3Flaming Dragon Hotel
The best place to stay in Takemizu Village, the Flaming Dragon Hotel is a top-tier vacation destination. This one is pricier, but it is worth the cost if you want a more relaxing getaway.
The front of the hotel is decorated with small ponds and bonsai trees. Your Sims will feel at peace while they wander through the private Zen Garden or dine on delicious ramen in the exclusive restaurant for guests.
2Sky Vista Hotel
The Sky Vista Hotel is nestled in the midst of nature, but your Sim has the added comfort of gazing out through large, sunlit windows while listening to music, sipping on coffee, and relaxing indoors.
There’s a hammock to relax under a canopy of trees, but if your Sim wishes to go on a more rustic adventure, community lots are available to visit. At the end of the day, they go back to sleep in the most comfortable accommodations in Three Lakes.
1Potterhouse Bungalows
The Potterhouse Bungalows are the best hotel option in The Sims 2: Bon Voyage. Offering more privacy than your typical hotel, your Sims will feel serene and secure in one of the small homes available.
Your Sim can enjoy relaxing ocean views from the comfort of their room. If you want to go for a swim or bask in the sun, you have quick, beachfront access as you lie under the palm trees. Any Sim who visits this hotel will return home refreshed and ready to take on the week.
