Skill Type

Passive

With the Explosive Nature skill, every attack you make will be accompanied by a chance to have additional lightning damage that has the ability to jump to multiple enemies and damage them all.

Each strike has a 15 percent chance to gain an additional eight damage per target, with a total of five targets possible. With a cooldown of only 0.3 percent, this skill can quickly take effect multiple times during a single fight. Having this skill will allow you to more easily dispatch groups of enemies.

The icon of the Clairvoyance skill in Jotunnslayer.

Having the Clairvoyance skill greatly increases the amount of experience you’ll earn from every source. The more experience you have, the more powerful your character can eventually grow. This is a large part of the experience of Jotunnslayer, so the more quickly you can do this the better you’ll be.

As you undertake greater challenges this skill will remain useful, with a flat 25 percent increase to all experience gained. This means that the more experience you’re earning, the greater the gains from this skill will be.

The icon of the Static Charge skill in Jotunnslayer.

Static Charge is another skill that deals lightning damage to foes, but unlike Explosive Nature, this skill only takes effect when being damaged. Whenever an enemy attacks you with this skill equipped, you’ll have a 25 percent chance to send out a shock wave of lightning that deals five damage to up to five enemies.

This can help if you are regularly being overwhelmed by swarms of enemies, or to give yourself breathing room in fights. Dealing damage is the second-best option after avoiding it.

The icon of the Elusive Trickster skill in Jotunnslayer.

Dash can be used to quickly escape danger or to throw yourself into the midst of it. The more dashes you can use, the more quickly you can move around the battlefield and gain the upper hand during combat.

The Elusive Trickster skill, bestowed bythe god Loki, reduces the cooldown on your dash by 30 percent and allows you to do it more quickly. This also comes with a five percent chance of slowing your character for three seconds, making this skill a trade between risk and reward.

The icon of the Barrel Through skill in Jotunnslayer.

With the Barrel Through perk, every time you execute a dash, you will damage and knock back nearby enemies that are in your path. This turns your defensive dash into a more offensive tool, allowing you to scatter groups of enemies.

With Barrel Through, any enemy caught within the radius of your dash will receive 15 points of damage. This won’t become your main tool for dealing damage, but allows you to consistently apply pressure on enemies and supplement your main offense.

The icon of the Tearing Blow skill in Jotunnslayer.

The more enemies that are attacking you, the better Tearing Blow becomes. Tearing Blows turns your enemies numbers against them, making it so that every enemy you defeat has a ten percent chance to explode, damage all nearby foes by ten points.

This is most effective when enemies are grouped up. This is a common occurrence in Jotunnslayer, which makes Tearing Blow increasingly effective as the game progresses. With a cooldown of only one percent, the more enemies you defeat, the higher chance this skill has to take effect.

The icon of the Aimed Shots skill in Jotunnslayer.

Jotunnslayer is a game about combat, and any skill that allows you to increase your ability to defeat your foes is worth having. There are two levels to the Aimed Shots skill, and each will increase the amount of damage you’ll be capable of dealing.

The first level will increase your damage by 15 percent, and the second by an impressive 30 percent. This passive skill is simple but useful in every type of situation. In Jotunnslayer, dealing more damage is never a bad idea.

Autocast

Temporal Trap is a skill usable by the Seeress that has the ability to slow down time within a certain area. Anything within this zone will freeze for the duration of the skill, leaving them vulnerable to attack and giving you room to maneuver.

There are four levels to this skill, each increasing the duration of the effect and eventually causing all enemies trapped by it to take increases amounts of damage from your attacks. This skill is equally useful for defense and offense. The final level also damages enemies and can destroy projectiles.
