Summary

During a recent interview, pop star Chappell Roan revealed that she playsFortnitewhile using the Ariana Grande skin but really wants her own set of cosmetics.

For as long as Fortnite has been around, one of the main things that it’s been known for is its propensity to crossover and collaboratewith pretty much any kind of IP.From Family Guy’s Peter Griffin to Skibidi Toilet, we’ve pretty much seen it all since 2017. As of late, though, Epic has grown up a little and started focusing a bit more on real-world figures.

Over the past few years, Fortnite has introduced a ton of music legends to Fortnite, from rappers like Snoop Dogg (who even basically got his own season) and Eminem to pop stars like Billie Eilish and Lady Gaga, The Island is absolutely stacked with world-famous musicians. With any luck, it’s about to have a H-O-T newcomer on its hands.

Chappell Roan Wants Her Own Fortnite Skin

If that cringeworthy hint didn’t clue you in, I’m talking about Chappell Roan, the pop star who has seen a meteoric rise over the past few years with tracks like Good Luck, Babe!, Pink Pony Club, Hot To Go, and more.Roan already has plenty of representation in Fortnite through a Jam Track and emote based on Hot To Go, but it seems like she’s up for far more.

As reported by PC Gamer, Roan recently spoke to the BBC after being crowned the Sound of 2025. During her interview,Roan says that when she wants to have a “really good night”, she’ll eat an edible and play video games. As it turns out, the game that she plays the most is none other than Fortnite and she does so using the iconic Ariana Grande skin.

After dismissing the new first-person mode, Ballistic, for not letting you see the skins you buy, Roan takes the chance to peer into the camera and directly ask Epic for something I can’t believe hasn’t happened already - her own skin in Fortnite. Roan somehow doesn’t have one yet despite already being in the game, which makes it more than a fair request.

That is what I’m going to use this interview for. Please give me a skin. Please. - Chappell Roan

It sounds like it might just be a bit of a tease, though, as Roan revealed during the interview that she’s got another Fortnite emote in the works. With that in mind, it’s clear that she’s going to be in the game more, and is likely being saved for a future Festival Pass or her own season appearance altogether.
