At the end ofStreet Fighter 6’s second season, the game will have received eight total DLC characters. At the time of writing, there is no confirmation about what comes next, but we can rest assured that Street Fighter 6 will likely continue receiving updates and DLC. Of course, that leaves us wondering what kind of characters we will see.

Season 2 of Street Fighter 6 was a pleasant surprise, with Mai and Terry from the SNK universe making their debuts. These guest characters also opened up the potential for collaboration with many more franchises for future guests. Additionally, there are still many classic Street Fighter characters who have yet to show themselves in Street Fighter 6.

C. Viper’s preparing for battle in her Intro In Street Figher 4.

10C. Viper

An Undercover CIA Agent Who First Appeared In Street Fighter 4

C. Viper first made her debut in Street Fighter 4, offering a rushdown-style gameplay with mix-ups that would open up even the world’s best players. She utilizes a left-right offense, keeping the opponent guessing and also has super jump high-low mix-ups that add to her rushdown.

Since Street Fighter 6 is an offense-focused game, C. Viper would be the perfect fit with just a few adjustments and enhancements to her toolkit. Surprisingly enough, she was also excluded from SF5, despite appearing in many characters' stories. C. Viper’s return to Street Fighter 6 is certainly something we all want.

Kazuya Mishima generating dark purple and blue lightning around his fists in Tekken 8.

9Kazuya Mishima

A Main Antagonist From The Tekken Series

While Kazuya appeared as the protagonist of the first Tekken game, he has been the main antagonist of the series since Tekken 2. Kazuya is famous for the execution it takes to play him, particularly because of his wave dash and EWGF. His main strategy involves outmaneuvering the opponent and rushing them down with 50/50s.

SinceAkuma froim Street Fighterwas introduced as a guest character in Tekken 7, it’s only fitting that Kazuya makes a debut in Street Fighter 6. With just a few adjustments, Kazuya’s moves can easily fit into Street Fighter 6.

Sakura Kasugano Striking A Battle Stance In Street Fighter 5.

8Sakura Kasugano

Biggest Ryu Fan Who First Appeared In Street Fighter Alpha 2

Sakura is a classic shoto character who follows Ryu and has learned many of his moves. As expected with shotos, her toolkit includes fireballs and DPs. Sakura is also one of the most popular characters in the entire Street Fighter series, having made debuts in many other games.

Sakura would be extremely strong in Street Fighter 6 because of the addition of drive rush. This allows shoto characters to throw a fireball and follow it up with a drive rush. Of course, Street Fighter 6 mainly has male shoto characters, so a female addition would diversify the cast.

Sagat Angrily Staring At His Opponent In Street Fighter 5.

7Sagat

The Boss Character Of The Original Street Fighter

Sagat is a master of Muay Thai and became the strongest fighter in the world of Street Fighter at one point. His gameplay requires players to play fundamental Street Fighter, with little to no gimmicks.

Sagat could be introduced as a boss character of season 3. Following the pattern of the previous seasons, Akuma was the big boss introduced in season 1, whileM. Bisonserved that role in season 2. Not introducing Sagat in the same way for season 3 would be a massively missed opportunity.

Karin from Street Fighter 5 in her fighting stance.

6Karin Kanzuki

Pompous But Iconic Character Originally From A Manga

Karin is a unique case, as she first appeared in the 1996 Manga called “Sakura Ganbaru.” She was then introduced as a playable character in Street Fighter Alpha 3. Her playstyle is purely based on spacing and whiff punishing. You must also have instant reactions so that you can one-hit confirm her moves.

With so many offensive characters, Street Fighter 6 could do well with another footie-based character who relies purely on SF fundamentals. Karin could also get some interesting offensive capabilities with drive rush and other Street Fighter 6 mechanics.

Tifa Lockhart leaning on the bar in FF7 Remake.

5Tifa Lockhart

One Of The Most Beloved Characters From The Final Fantasy Series

Tifa is the childhood friend of Cloud, the main protagonist of Final Fantasy 7. She’s an iconic character with a fighting style that can be perfectly incorporated into Street Fighter 6.

Tifa could also get some interesting stuff for the world tour mode, especially if she interacts with characters like Chun Li or even Mai.SinceTekken and Street Fighter are rival series, it’s only fitting that Street Fighter 6 gets Tifa while Tekken 8 is getting Clive from Final Fantasy 16.

Yor and Chun Li facing off in the Street Fighter and Spy X Family collaboration.

4Yor Forger

Everyone’s Favorite Assassin From Spy X Family

Yor Forger is an assassin from the popular anime Spy X Family. While Yor’s fighting style is nothing too flashy, she could easily pass a Street Fighter 6 character. For fireball-type attacks, she could throw Kunai or some assassin tools.

She fits perfectly in the role of a guest character, as Street Fighter 6 has already collaborated with Spy X Family. Capcom even released a Yor vs Chun Li short video animation to commemorate the collaboration. The hardest part is bringing a 2D animated character to life in a 3D game.

Street Fighter 5 image showing Cody Travers walking.

3Cody Travers

A Real Street Fighter Who First Appeared In Final Fight

Cody Travers first showed up in an entirely different Capcom game called Final Fight. He then made his debut in Street Fighter Alpha 3 as a playable character. As expected from a brawler, Cody is an offense-based character who deals tons of damage.

Cody deserves to be in Street Fighter 6 simply because he’s a pure street fighter. He has no special superpowers, he simply throws rocks and dust at his opponent. Street Fighter 6 can certainly benefit from a brawler like Cody.

Super Street Fighter IV image showing Makoto sitting with a look of determination.

2Makoto

High Damage Character Who First Appeared In Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike

Makoto is a damage-focused character who can combo after her command grab. She is notorious for her slow walk speed, but more than makes up for it. Slow but high-damaging characters exist in Street Fighter 6, but none are quite like Makoto.

Jamie is the closest one, but he doesn’t get his command grab until the 3rd drink. Makoto couldn’t make it to the Street Fighter 5 roster either, so having her return in Street Fighter 6 would be something many of us would celebrate.

Urien with a creepy grin on his face as he clashes with an opponent in Street Fighter 5.

1Urien

A Tyrant Who First Appeared In Street Fighter 3: 2nd Impact

Urien has always been about long-range pokes and high damage resulting from his charge moves. He’s supposed to play a safe and defensive game until he can build resources to go on the offensive.

A character like this would be a breath of fresh air in Street Fighter 6. It would also be interesting to see how his defensive play style does in an offense-heavy game. Urien would likely be able to abuse drive rush pressure to its maximum potential.
