Summary

Sid Meier’s Civilization 7opened to mostly negative reviewsas players felt it was incomplete and the UI was unintuitive. While that has risen up to ‘Mixed’ since then, many fans think it’s a step down from Civ 6 in many ways. However, the community knows that a new Civilization game is always worth playing after it gets a few good updates – the same happened with the previous entry.

While there are a lot more issues than the undercooked UI, it seems Firaxis is already working towards improving Civ 7’s issues, ranging from thenew age systemand theaggressive AI. However, in order to do so, it seems the devs will be putting new content on the back burner. The Natural Wonder Battle event, which was supposed to launch on March 4, has been postponed.

The updates being introduced on March 25 are just one part of a much larger plan that aims to improve the UI over the next several months.”
