Upgrading To Days Gone Remastered On PS5 And PC Options
As has been the case with most PS4 PlayStation exclusives to get a PS5 remaster, if you own the original version of the game, you have the option to upgrade for $10. There are caveats, though. If you acquired your copy of Days Gone through PS Plus Extra, when it was one of the monthly games on PS Plus Essential, or while it was part of the PS Plus Classics collection,you will not be able to upgrade for $10. You will need to buy the rematser separately and pay full price.
You also can’t buy the original now and upgrade for a discounted rate. PlayStation is on to you so the PS4 version costs $39.99, meaning you won’t be saving any money by buying that and upgrading.
Even thoughPCplayers won’t be getting the remaster, at least not yet, the other features are coming to the PC version of Days Gone. If you already own Days Gone on PC, there will be a bundle exclusive to the platform dubbed the Broken Road DLC that will add the remaster’s other features, including the new modes.
