Arguably one of the best parts aboutDragon Ball: Sparking! Zerowhenit launched late last year, aside fromthe ginormous roster, was the inclusion of “What If” battles and scenarios. Specifically,the moment the game introduced Gohan Black.
It’sthe exact kind of scenario that had fans, including my colleague, George, and me, grinning from ear-to-ear. For Gohan fans, things were taken to the next level when, inSparking Zero’s first wave of post-launch DLC, Beast Mode Gohan and Orange Piccolo were added to the game, withfans immediately calling Beast Gohan the “best” new character.
Now, a fan has taken things to a whole new level by combining those two things into one new form.
Gohan Black (Beast) Is Quite Literally A Beast
Over on Nexus Mods,an all-encompassing website dedicated to video game mods, creator Virgixz,who’s also brought several other mods to the game, debutedGohan Black (Beast), a combination of Gohan’s “What If” scenario with arguably his most popular form.
Based off the available images, it’s a new transformation for an existing Gohan Black mod, though the creator notes that it won’t work if you have a double mod for Gohan (costume mod, new slot mod). As for the moveset, he’ll have the Black Kamehameha and Godly Black Kamehameha, though it doesn’t look like he has Special Beam Cannon, the move that he used in the movie.
Either way, it’s another mod in a long list of mods that have transformed the game into a dream come true for Dragon Ball fans. Last month,hours after a bounty was posted for mini Super Saiyan 4 Goku, amodder managed to make it happen, complete with oversized hands.That’s not to mention things like the Trunks/Goten Potara Fusion mod, orBlack Frieza. In other words, DB fans have been eating well.
