Electronic Artsand DICE, the publisher and developer behind theBattlefieldfirst-person shooter franchise, respectively, have been accused of using real-life pictures of the ongoing war in Gazain an artwork image for its upcoming Battlefield game.
As first reported by Insider Gaming, two Twitter users spotted the potential use of a 2021 photo taken of the Israeli-Palestenian conflict by Reuters — a worldwide news agency. Specifically, they point to a black cloud of smoke that has seemingly been recreated in the first piece of concept art shared by IGN for the upcoming game.

As the content creator specifically pointed out, the black cloud of smoke situated behind the “A” and “T” of the word “Battlefield” bares a striking resemblance to the real-life image, down to even its cut in the middle.
