Electronic Artsand DICE, the publisher and developer behind theBattlefieldfirst-person shooter franchise, respectively, have been accused of using real-life pictures of the ongoing war in Gazain an artwork image for its upcoming Battlefield game.

As first reported by Insider Gaming, two Twitter users spotted the potential use of a 2021 photo taken of the Israeli-Palestenian conflict by Reuters — a worldwide news agency. Specifically, they point to a black cloud of smoke that has seemingly been recreated in the first piece of concept art shared by IGN for the upcoming game.
