Summary
In the first season of Prime Video’sFalloutshow, many feared thatthe NCR had been completely destroyed off-screen. This was all due to the decision to have their founding location of Shady Sandsbombed out of existence, with the NCR remnants we see in the show being far from how we remember them inFallout: New Vegas.
However, more set leaks confirm that the show is far from done with the fan-favouite faction. A behind-the-scenes image and video shows what appears to be NCR-issued power armour - with someone decked out in the armour going up against a Deathclaw.

Fallout Set Leaks Confirm Deathclaws And New Power Armour
TikTok user starhazara shared a video from the set of the New Vegas Strip - whichseveral other fans have managed to get pictures and videos of, too. However, this time, there was activity on the set, as you can clearly make out a figure wearing power armour, and a prop Deathclaw.
The power armour in the video appears to be the same suit that’s being circulated online, perhaps confirming its authenticity.
This armour is adorned with the NCR logo, so it appears that the faction will exist in some form in Fallout Season 2. There is the theory that the suit has been thrown together with mismatched parts,Fallout 4style, but the helmet looks like it’s from an NCR ranger, so all the parts at least come from the same group.
The fact that the power armour-clad character was fighting a Deathclaw on the strip ties into a previous leak, which showed the Lucky 38 building damaged with Deathclaw marks. This has led some to believe thatVegas has been destroyed by Deathclawsby the time that the show takes place. Other set leaks showed the Strip looking much better, but it is theorised that this is because the next season will feature flashbacks to its heyday.
Of course, we won’t really know what’s going on until the season drops, whenever that will be. In the meantime, it certainly seems that the NCR is still around, just not as strong as it used to be.
