Summary

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirthhada pretty successful launch on PC earlier this monthand, as expected, modders very quickly got to work doing what they do best. It may have only been less than a week since its release, but there are already some absolutely wild creations out there, and a bunch of them wererecently combined by Twitter user GamesLoverto turn fights into giant chaotic brawls.

Those of you familiar with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will know that the vanilla game only lets you fight with three characters in your party. It might look a bit silly having characters like Red XIII and Tifa standing in the background while Cloud gets his face munched by a monster, but letting every single character in the game join the fight would not only be chaotic, but a staggering visual mess.

Final Fantasy 7 Modder Puts Every Playable Character In Their Party

Even Sephiroth And Zack Get In On The Action

Modders don’t much care for silly things like balance though, and GamesLover put together various mods that allowed them to not only have every playable character in the game in their party at once, but also make them super aggressive. The results are in the video embedded above (thanks GamesRadar) as Cloud and the gang completely lay into a group of monsters, with sparks, fists, and bullets flying everywhere.

What makes this scrap even funnier is the fact that Sephiroth and Zack are also among the carnage too. Both characters are briefly playable during Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, with complete and unique movesets, so GamesLOver decided to throwthe mod that makes them playable throughout the entire gamein there too. That makes a full party of nine characters wailing on some poor wildlife.

Final Fantasy 7 rebirth producer multiplatform releases

More impressively, there is a way to make this kind of balanced. GamesLover also managed to add two more mods to this mod soup, which allowed them totake control of every party member during fights, while alsovastly increasing enemy healthto verify enemies don’t just get immediately deleted upon the start of the fight. That means Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is now perfectly playable with a nine-man party, all of which using the full extent of their powers. Aren’t mods wonderful?
