Summary
Mortal Kombatis coming toFortnite, with a Sub-Zero skin just revealed. This collaboration will be part of Chapter 6, Season 2, which kicks off on February 21.
The Mortal Kombat collab is said to include more skins, so we’ll have to wait and see who else makes the cut. However, we now know that Sub-Zero will be part of the Chapter 6, Season 2 battle pass, giving us at least one of the classic ninjas.

Fortnite Is Getting A Mortal Kombat Crossover
Sub-Zero is part of the collab, which is part of the next season
The collab was just revealed, letting us see the Sub-Zero skin in all its glory. Fans seem to be pretty pleased with the reveal, although, of course, many are using it as a chance to request their favourite Mortal Kombat characters. It remains to be seen who’s added next, and whether Scorpion will join Sub-Zero in giving us both of the iconic series mascots.
As many are pointing out, the timing of this collaboration is quite bittersweet forMultiVersusfans. Despite Mortal Kombat being owned byWarner Bros., none of its characters ever appeared in MultiVersus - and now never will, sinceits current season is going to be the last.
However, the collab isn’t too surprising. After the news of MultiVersus going offline was shared, it was reported thatWarner Bros. would now be seeking more crossovers with other games, including Fortnite. So, we can expect other properties to get skins in the future as well. Other series that fit the bill include DC, Scooby-Doo, and The Lord of the Rings.
