Summary

Fortnitehas reached such an incredible level of fame that there aren’t many companies and studios left that don’t want their creations in the game if they’re not in there already. That extends to real-life collabs too, and it seems we’ll be getting another example of that soon. Although they’ve not been officially revealed, the first image ofsome Peely-themed Adidas sneakershas been shared online.

Shared over the weekendby Hypex, but discovered byLooloandJimmylongnose, Adidas’s Peely sneakers are expected to beavailable to buy from March 22. While not confirmed, the leakers expect they’ll be available in-game too. Very likely since footwear is now a very popular cosmetic option following its introduction to Fortnite last year.

As for what these Peely shoes look like, you can check them out for yourselves in the leaked image below. The gist is that they’ve been designed to look like you’re wearing high-end, animated banana skins on your feet. The zips where you’d normally find laces on regular sneakers with a lighter shade of yellow for the tongue and the insides add to their banana-themed look and will also make it feel like you’re unpeeling your feet whenever you unzip them and take them off.

Although It’s A Real-Life Collection, There Might Be In-Game Versions Too

To make sure anyone who sees you wearing them knows they’re Fortnite affiliated and not just random banana shoes, the design also incorporates the character’s blue Nana Nana sticker. Other designs that will seemingly be a part of the same collection have also been shared by the same leakers, although none of them are quite as out-there as the Peely option.

There’s also no word on how much any of these sneakers are going to cost, but between them being Fortnite-themed and created by Adidas, it’s probably safe to assume they won’t be cheap. Based purely on what other sneakers cost on the Adidas website, I’d hazard to guess they’ll set you back slightly north of $100. That’s purely guesswork for now, though.

Footwear is clearly a focus for the Fortnite team. Not only are there Kicks in-game and Adidas shoes coming, but last yearEpic teamed up with Crocs. A line of Fortnite-themed Crocs and Jibbitz were released during the latter half of 2024. Among the designs are Crocs based on the Battle Bus, a pair for Cuddle Team Leader, and some that look very similar to the Adidas Peely sneakers coming soon.
