Summary
March is finally here, and while that meansa smattering of new games, including the likes of Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, it also means thatEpic Gameshas sent out a new survey toFortniteplayers.
The surveys, which are basically tradition at this point, are used to gauge player interest in potential IPs, as well as celebrities, athletes and musicians that could make their way into live-service battle royale. In the past, such surveys have included the likes ofRed Dead’s Arthur Morgan and Kingdom Hearts, as well asthe potential for One Piece and Yakuza.
While not every option listed comes to pass, it is a good indicator of where Epic might be heading in the near future. In this case, Fortnite fans might be experiencing an overload of Imagine Dragons, Taylor Swift and the Kardashians.
These Are Where My Demons Hide
As first shared on Twitter by SamLeakss, a reliable source for Fortnite surveys, this recent iteration of the survey focuses on four key areas: Artists, Celebrities, Sports and Movies.
Right off the rip, fans will notice that Imagine Dragons is one of the potential upcoming options, as is Taylor Swift. Imagine Dragons are no stranger to video game fame, having performed at The Game Awards in the past, becoming a meme in the process. Swift, of course, is arguably the biggest pop star in the world.
On the celebrity side, both Kendall and Kylie Jenner, as well as Khloé Kardashian are listed. Interestingly enough, all three Spider-Men, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland, are also included, which may mean at some point we can recreate the viral pointing meme.
Ryan Reynolds' Free Guy and James Bond are featured in the movie section, while NBA star Steph Curry is highlighted on the sports side. For whatever reason, there is no mention of other video games, as has been the case in past surveys. Ultimately, only time will tell what ends up making the game, if anything at all. If it is Imagine Dragons, don’t say we didn’t warn you.
