These improvements not only improve the game, but many of them also make medieval life a bit more tolerable. While they are welcomed, fans of the game have also pointed out some of the funniest changes that have been made in patch 1.2. The game has its own sense of humour, but some of these fixes are pretty funny.

Over on Reddit, one player shared a meme about how the update is welcomed, but the sheer size of it is intimidating. While players will have to wait for it to download, some have decided to see the funny side of the patch notes; for instance, “Improved physics of the parsnip.” It’s unclear why this vegetable needed improved physics, but the devs left nothing to chance.
“Thank god. That’s what kept me from saying Game of the Year. I’m glad they fixed it,” said one comment in reply to the parsnip fix. “What does this even mean? What was wrong with parsnip physics before?” asked another, who was as confused as the rest of us. A third replied, saying, “You never encountered the Parsnip Singularity bug? Lucky bastard.” Thankfully, no parsnips created a black hole in my playthrough.
“One of the changes is that you don’t get harassed by the tutorial that you don’t have to press anything while full speed on horse,” pointed out another comment, referring to the infamous tutorial that kept popping up if held down ‘W’ while riding.
Someone else pointed out that Rosa got a major glow up, probably because most players were choosing Katherine over her. “They sure have their priorities straight,” they said. Another noted that guards will no longer confront players in their underwear raised from their bed at night – they should have honestly let that one be. Who has the time to get dressed in armour when confronting a criminal?
Coming full circle, one player said, “I see. It’s a 24 hour Hans stream tomorrow because that’s how long it will take him to download the game.”
