Summary
Grand Theft Auto 6will likely be with us in a matter of months, and we still have no release date.Rockstarhas kept GTA 6 news close to its chest for some time, and so far, the only official information we have is a teaser trailer and the promise ofa launch towards the end of this year.
However, we may now be able to narrow down its PC port release date. PC hardware company Corsair Gaming has referenced the port in its latestearnings call, stating that GTA 6 will leave console in early 2026.

GTA 6 Could Launch On PC In Early 2026
It’s coming to console first in late 2025
This was spotted byVGC, with Corsair Gaming’s financial VP, Ronald van Veen, commenting onGTA 6’s currently unannounced PC port.
“GTA 6 is probably the one everyone is talking about. And we’ll get a glimpse of that, I think, later on in the year for console,” says van Veen. “My understanding now [is] it’s going to come out in the fall for console, and then early 2026 for PC.”

This is repeated elsewhere in the earnings call, with Corsair Gaming co-founder and CEO Andy Paul stating that GTA 6 is “still likely a year away” from launching on PC.
So, it seems that the PC gaming market is preparing for GTA 6 to be ported over much sooner than Rockstar has done in the past. BothGTA 5andRed Dead Redemption 2took over a year to come to PC, but judging from these comments, it could be a matter of months for GTA 6. This would come as a great relief to many, considering how long everyone has waited for another GTA game.
Of course, this is far from official confirmation. We don’t even have the release date for the initial launch on console, so all we can do is sit back and wait for Rockstar to drop more news, andat some point, another trailer.
