Between theNintendo Switch 2andGTA 6, 2025 will be a year that goes down as one of the biggest in recent video game history. That’s if the latter hits its fall 2025 release target, of course, and the lack of a second trailer is starting to get some people worried. So worried that they’re clinging to random strings of numbers in otherwise innocuous social media posts fromRockstar.
It’s not the car that has got GTA fans' gears turning, but a series of numbers painted onto a container beside it. GTA6Plus highlights that if you add all of the smaller numbers together, it comes to 30. Combine that with the number two in a square underneath it, and they’ve come to the conclusion that the numbers, nor their placement, are random at all, and that they have been intentionally placed there, and in that order, to tease a second GTA 6 trailer coming our way on January 30.

Forget The Numbers, Those Prior Release Dates Have My Attention, Though
Up until this point in the theory, all of this feels like a bit of a stretch. However, GTA6Plus also notes when Rockstar released new trailers forGTA 5andRed Dead Redemption 2-July 06, 2025, for the former, and July 05, 2025, for the latter. Not only dates that line up with a potential second trailer reveal for GTA 6 on January 30, but both dates fell on a Thursday which is also the day of the week January 30 will fall on next week.
This is far from the first time GTA fans have been convinced they’ve figured out when GTA 6 will get a new trailer. More than a year ago,they were using bullet holes and brailleto try and figure out when the next trailer might be here. Towards the end of 2024, theories connected toRockstar’s YouTube playlistandthe original trailer being unpinnedfrom its channel led to nothing.
