Every year, the baseball season is preceded by a period of spring training. It functions much like any other sport’s preseason, helping the veterans get into playing shape and offering coaches the opportunity to evaluate younger talent. If these new players perform well, they can even earn a spot on the Major League roster.
The developers ofMLB The Show 25recognize the excitement that comes with new potential stars emerging, and the game is recognizing these standouts with the Spring Breakout Program. Complete a variety of challenges, stockpile stars, and you’ll be able to add these players to your Diamond Dynasty squad.
Spring Breakout Program Rewards
Programs arebuilt like battle passes, with rewards beingdolled out to you after collecting a certain number of stars, a currency earned from challenges. The Spring Breakout Programcontains 20 items to earn. They are as follows:

PXP Missions
PXP refers to Parallel XP, theexperience you earn for your playersin Diamond Dynasty. Playing well with the specified players in your lineup willlevel them up, and in turnnet you more rewards in Spring Breakout.

Player cards in Diamond Dynasty aren’t just for enhancing your roster;collecting themand completing sets canunlock exclusive rewards. Gettingten Spring Breakout Players(acquired through Program progression and Showdowns) will earn you a star, as well asan 87 overall Leodalis De Vries card.
Spring Breakout Showdown
Showdownsare another mode in Diamond Dynasty that pit you againsta gauntlet of encounters before ending in a final boss. There is a Showdownhighlighting the players featured in the Spring Breakout set, and completing it will earn you 20 stars!
