On a group of islands filled with plant life and ruins, it only makes sense that critters exist inHello Kitty Island Adventure. Critters are small little creatures that you can find around the islands, ranging from bugs to crabs that walk along the beach.
Looking to catch every critter in the game? In this guide, we are going to take a look at a complete list of every critter in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. This will also include how to unlock critter catching, as the net used to do so won’t be unlocked right from the start of the game.
Critters refers to a variety of creatures, not just bugs. Some critters do happen to be butterflies, but you may also catch critters that look like chickens, birds, and turtles.
How To Unlock Critter Catching
In order to unlock the net and catch critters, you’ll need tocomplete the quest Open the Nature Preserve.This quest has the following requirements.
This quest isn’t too difficult; justfollow what Keroppi tells you to do.You’ll need to find theBog Critter List,which is at the base of agiant tree surrounded by water (near the Nature Preserve building).After some conversations with Keroppi and Badtz-Maru, you’ll get the plans to craft a net with the following materials.
Through several quests, you’ll be able tounlock the rooms of the Nature Preserve.This isn’t required to catch critters though.
How To Catch Critters
Like most tools in Hello Kitty Island Adventure,using the net is pretty easy.First, you’ll need toequip it from the circular toolbar.From here, tap or click on the net icon to swipe it. If a critter is nearby,you’ll scoop them up and add them to your inventory.
Critters can be kept, but you’ll also be able todonate them to the Nature Preserve.Later in the game, you’ll also be able to donate them to Critter Corrals, but this isn’t possible if you’ve just unlocked the net.
If you have the area of the Nature Preserve unlocked (such as the Seaside Resort room on the far left), you’ll be able toenter and check out all of the donated critters.There doesn’t seem to be a limit to how many critters can be donated;we gave four Sunslimes at a time and all four now wander around the Seaside Resort room.
