Having cleared all the early game bosses and defeated King of the Garbage Heap inEnder Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, your next opponent is quite formidable. After fighting the former boss, you will encounter Gilroy, the Administrator. As soon as you encounter Gilroy, he will pin the blame on you for the Rain of Death and will decide to cut you down with his own hands.
The boss deals massive damage and can even defend himself against your attacks. So, to defeat him, you would need to be a little creative. Here, we will tell you exactly how to beat this boss without much struggle.
Countermeasure
Double FrontSlash
Gilroy would slash in front of him twice. The first slash will come out pretty quickly, but the second one is delayed and has a much larger hitbox.
You can parry the first one using Shackled Beast’s Counter and dodge the second hit, or you can dodge the first one and parry the second one. The latter is preferred.
Shield Bash
The boss will hold his shield in front of him and quickly charge toward you. The shield will explode.
This one can be tricky to dodge; the explosion will hit you if you mistime it a little. So, try to dodge when the boss’s charge toward you is over, and then hit him with your attack.
Dodge and use the Barrage skill.
Air Slash
Usually, the boss jumps back and slashes the air to create a projectile. The projectile isn’t that fast.
Simply dodge the attack, and you will use your Barrage skill to close the distance.
Gilroy can be quite troublesome, especially if you play on high difficulty. This boss’s health pool isn’t small, andhis attacks are annoying, especially his shield bash one. He may even spam this attack, so be on guard. Other than this, the rest of his other attacks won’t be much of a problem.
Whenever Gilroy uses his Air Slash attack, make sure to dodge it inside and approach the boss quickly for some damage, as there will be an opening to do so.
However,be aware of his Double Front Slash, as the delay in the second hit can mess up your dodge timing. Upon defeating the boss, you will receive Attuner Arts.This action will bring out Attuner’s special attacks.
