How To Prepare For Quick Clash

For your equipment, you shouldpurchase at least one cannon upgradeon yourport or starboardsides to make the opening phases faster.

It’s recommended to upgrade your ship’s durability and boarding squad size to make each phase of the battle slightly easier.

Machine guns are also huge tone-setters,as you’ll do a lot of damage with these weapons when you’re infrontof andbehindenemy ships. While port and starboard upgrades are impactful, they’reslightly more situationalin the earlier battles as there’s only one time to employ each, rather than the two instances for machine guns.

Cannons are more important in battles starting at rank three, as the ships gain more HP and become more difficult to defeat with machine guns alone.

These fights are a great way to level up your crew members and ascend the pirate ranks as you make a name for yourself on the seas. While you don’t need a fully leveled-up crew to begin these fights,it’s wise tospend a chunk of moneyupgrading your performance and equipmentearly to get started.

If you fall below 50 percent health and are in a tight spot, take a moment to use your speed boost to get out of striking distance while using therepairfunction. It’s more important to survive than put yourself at risk.Stay behind the boss shipto continue hitting it with machine gun damage while your cannons reload.

You don’t need to destroy the lower-tier ships to get an S-rank.

You can focus on the boss ship and begin the deck round when its HP hits zero.

For the deck battles, target the higher-ranked opponents first to prevent them from filling theirVoltage Gaugeand using their skills to strengthen their crew or attack you.Sea Dog Style is preferredas you have more skills that can hit several opponents and end the battle quickly.

Once you get the crew down to one or two opponents, you may switch to Mad Dog Style if you’re low on HP and need to avoid strong foes, otherwise stick with Sea Dog until the end.

Be sure to remember to use your Support Skills by pressing up on the d-pad, as these can end battles much quicker and prevent you from being knocked out if you’re low on HP.
