Several characters inHello Kitty Island Adventureare found on dry land, letting you talk to them rather early into the game. While many characters prefer the beaches, there is one who stands out; Hangyodon. This underwater character lives his best life within the Comedy Club of Rainbow Reef.
In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to meet and befriend Hangyodon. This will also take a quick look at how to unlock the ability to go underwater, which is needed in order to meet him for the first time. Additionally, we’ll go over all the rewards associated with leveling up his friendship.
Where To Find Hangyodon
Hangyodon is pretty stationary; he is typicallyfound in the Comedy Club of Rainbow Reef.This is the main structure here,with a mailbox right outside. At the start of the game, you won’t be able to dive down into the water.
To reach these depths,you’ll need to unlock the snorkel, which is done byleveling up your friendship with Kuromi.Once you arelevel six friendship with her,you’ll get the quest Deep Diving, which tasks you with making a snorkel.
The quest is relatively easy, and once it’s done, you may freelyvisit the Comedy Club and speak to Hangyodon whenever you want.
Gifts To Give Hangyodon
When you finally make it to the Comedy Club, it’s time to give Hangyodon some gifts. Overall, he likes gifts with theAquatic, Fish, and Cloth tag.These are shaped likea water droplet, a fish, and a folded fabric (which kind of looks like a book).
Any gift with the three tags will have one-heart, but there are a few others that provide even more friendship when given.

In return for giving Hangyodon a gift,he will give you some Candlenuts.These areused to make drinks at the Espresso Machine, which is also located in the Comedy Club.
Overall,the easiest gift to give Hangyodon is fish.After you unlock fishing, it’s relatively easy to catch some fish which, at minimum, are one-heart gifts.

In total, there are15 levels of friendship that you can progress through with Hangyodon.This is lower than some characters, but you’ll still get a reward for each level.

Description
Comic Relief
This quest tasks you with finding Hangyodon’s suitcase (behind the club), as well as the Mermaid Outfit.
This quest involves a lot of finding things (the mermaid outfit parts, the suitcase, and power crystals).
Once completed, other characters will visit the Comedy Club.
When You Fwish Upon a Fish
Before starting this quest, you need to complete Keep it Reel and Comic Relief.
This quest unlocks the Fwishing Well, where fish can be donated.
Espresso Machine Repair
Before starting this quest, you need to complete When You Fwish Upon a Fish.
This quest tasks you with repairing Hello Kitty’s Espresso Machine.
Daily Quests
