InHello Kitty Island Adventure, you’ll encounter many cute characters in the first area, Seaside Resort. My Melody, in particular, asks you to deliver gift packages to most of the characters early on, allowing you to meet them and begin building friendships. Some characters, however, are located outside of Seaside Resort, but eventually, you’ll be able to visit these new locations and befriend them.
Keep in mind that not all locations are within Friendship Island; later in the game, you’ll unlock Cloud Island, where you can meet Kiki and Lala, who congratulate you after collecting power crystals. This guide covers how to befriend Lala and important details about her.
Where To Find Lala
Kiki and Lala are special characters in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, often appearing to give you a congratulatory nod after completing power crystal quests. You can’t interact with them in the early stages of the game, but they’re definitely worth the wait!
You’ll encounter them on Cloud Island, but to reach this enchanting location, you’ll need to go through a lengthy chain of quests. Expect to trek through various biomes, solve tricky puzzles, and assist other characters to progress. The road to Cloud Island is very long! Below is a step-by-step guide to the quests you need to complete before gaining access to Cloud Island.

Hello Kitty
The Stargazing quest is only available at night. If it’s daytime in your game,simply sleep in a visitor cabin with a bed until night arrives.
Once it’s dark, travel to Moon Island to meet Hello Kitty. After your chat, Sky Fragments will start to fall at various points on Friendship Island. Gathering them is easy, as they’ll all be marked on your map:

First Sky Fragment
The first Sky Fragment will fallnear you, so you can’t miss it.
Second Sky Fragment
Another can be foundin Spooky Swamp, where Kuromi and My Melody are located. Speak with them to collect it.
Third Sky Fragment
One is waiting for youat Rainbow Reef, inside Hangyodon’s comedy club.Enter, finish the dialogue with him and Retsuko, and you’ll get it.
Fourth Sky Fragment
In Gemstone Mountain, you’ll find another Sky Fragment. Chat with Chococat and Badtz-Maru to claim it.
Fifth Sky Fragment
Finally,at Mount Hothead, you can talk to Keroppi and collect the last Sky Fragment.
Once you’ve gathered all five Sky Fragments,head back to Moon Island and meet Hello Kittyonce more. After your conversation,a portal will mysteriously appear at the center of the island.This portal leads to Cloud Island, a new area where Kiki and Lala resides. Stepping through it willtake you to Cloud Island Plaza, where Kiki and Lala are waiting for you.
Speaking with them will mark the completion of the Stargazing quest. From here, you can interact with Kiki and Lala. You can now give them gifts, build your friendship, and enjoy new interactions as you progress.

Compared to Kiki, giving gifts to Lala is a bit more challenging due to the limited areas you can access on Cloud Island at the start. To give her the easiest gift, you’ll need togain access to the Candy Cloud Machine.To unlock this, you must reach level two in your friendship with Lala and complete the ‘Sweets in the Stars’ quest.
Until then,Moon Cheese is a good alternative, which can be found among the star-shaped rocks on Cloud Island.
For a two-heart gift,Art Supplies is a good optionsince it doesn’t require many materials other than Paper. Another two-star gift you may give her is the Cheese Cloud. However, thisrequires both Moon Cheese and Candy Cloud.
You can obtain Candy Cloud by giving it to Cinnamoroll as a gift. Afterward, gather the necessary materials, andyou can craft Candy Cloud at the Candy Cloud Machine.
If you want to give Lala a three-heart gift, you should craft the Quattro Formaggi Pizza. you may craft it at the Pizza Oven, and therequired materials are one Dough, Coral Milk, and Moon Cheese.You can obtain Dough bygiving it to Retsuko as a gift, while Coral Milk can befound at Rainbow Reef.
Every time you give Lala a gift, she will reward you with Stardust in return.
Friendship Rewards
One of the rewards Lala gives you is a Friendship Quest, which is great since she provides it fairly early on. In addition, she will give you various crafting plans for other rewards and star-themed decoration items.

Quests From Lala
Lala will give you a friendship quest once your friendship level with her reaches level two. In this task, you’ll need to find Starfruits, then you will unlock Cloud Ride. This will allow you to explore new areas on Cloud Island andgain access to the Candy Cloud Machine, where you can craft new gifts.
Kiki and Lala also team up to give you the ‘Catching A Cloudragon’ quest, and completing itunlocks the Cloud Island Critter Corral.Additionally, they offer the ‘Call to Adventure’ quest, which leads to a more extensive questline.
When your bond with both Kiki and Lala hits level 20,you’ll unlock them as companions.Unlike other characters,this pair will accompany you on every adventure, side by side.
Sweets in the Stars
Daily Quests
Lala’s daily quests are quite simple, and in return, they grant you friendship points for Lala. So, make sure to complete them whenever you get the chance!
