Hello Kitty Island Adventuretakes place in a vast sea of islands. Here, you’ll be able to explore, collect a plethora of resources, and meet new friends. One friend that you’ll eventually come across when exploring is Pekkle. This little duck loves to have a good time, so it’s time for you to join him!
In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to befriend Pekkle in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. This will involve every friendship reward, as well as any quests (including daily quests) that relate to Pekkle. This Sanrio character is not present at the Seaside Resort at the start of the game; you’ll need to seek him out.
Where To Find Pekkle
Pekkle is located onGemstone Mountain, typically found around Gemstone Town.This is a relatively central area where you can also find some buildings anda fast-travel mailbox. Pekkle’s icon will show exactly where he is, so once you make it to Gemstone Town, simply head to the icon location.
If you’ve never been to Gemstone Town,getting here can be quite a trek.There is no simple path straight to him, as Gemstone Mountain is raised. To get here, you have a few options.
Firstly, you couldbasically brute force it and climb up the side of the lower layer until you reach the Gemstone Town layer(where you may then unlock the mailbox). This can be tricky, as the mountain isn’t really intended to be scaled like this. Here at TheGamer, we did this and it worked. We ran around the lower layer,looking for any place to climb up the side.
If you want to do it this way, we recommendfinding a section with rocks that jut out of the cliff face.This can be used aslittle platformsto replenish your stamina.
The other way to reach Gemstone Mountain and talk to Pekkle is tounlock the Zipline.By completing the questA Zipline Adventure(which requires level four friendship with Pochacco and Power Up the Gate), you’ll unlock Ziplines that go between islands.
To repair the Zipline between Spooky Swamp and Gemstone Mountain,you’ll need two Sparks, which you’ll learn about while doing the quest.This is the easiest way to reach Gemstone Mountain, as the Zipline places you on an upper layer.
The Zipline from Spooky Swamp is locatedright above the Ghost Tour Ride mailbox.
Gifts To Give Pekkle
You’ve finally made it to Pekkle! This little duck loves receiving gifts, especially with the tagsMusic, Rocky, and Relax.Any gift with at least one of these tags will be a one-heart gift with Pekkle. There are a few gifts that have two or three hearts, which boost friendship even more. You can find these gifts below.

Stacked Stones
In return for receiving a gift,Pekkle will give you some Feathers.Once you reach max friendship with Pekkle, he will instead give you aPekkle Gift Box,which holds feathers, dyes, and a unique collector’s hat.
In order to raise your friendship with Pekkle,we recommend giving him Calming Crystals, Hot Cocoa, or Twinklebugs(this is a Gemstone Mountain critter found in caves). Once you get your hands on two or three-heart gifts, you’re able to then give Pekkle those.
Friendship Rewards
Pekkle has15 levels of friendshipthat you may progress through. These unlock things likenew quests, items, and abilitiesrelated to Pekkle.

Speed Climber lets youclimb 50 percent faster,while Dance All Night lets Pekklechange the in-game time of day when you talk to him.
Quests From Pekkle
There are two types of quests related to Pekkle; one-time quests and daily quests. One-time questsunlock by leveling up your friendship with Pekkle,and involve doing something around the island. Sometimes, these will evenunlock unique features.Below, you may find all one-time quests that unlock through friendship with Pekkle.
Description
Bring Back the Swing
Before starting this quest, you need to complete Power Up the Gate.
This quest tasks you with helping Pekkle restore the Gemstone Town Dance Hall.
To do so, you’ll gather Purple Power Crystals.
Heavy Metal Hoedown
Before starting this quest, you need to complete Enraging Ruins and Fire Up the Volcano.
This quest tasks you with recruiting Retsuko to help break boulders that came from Mount Hothead.
There are no key items that need to be gathered here; the quest is rather straightforward.
Rockadoodler Roundup
Before starting this quest, you need to complete Open the Nature Preserve.
This quest tasks you with catching 6 Rockadoodlers around Gemstone Mountain.
After completion, the Rockadoodle Roundup minigame will unlock.

Daily Quests are typically pretty simple,involving visiting a location, gathering an item, or taking a picture.Below, you may see all of Pekkle’s potential daily quests.
