Where To Find Pompomurrin
Pompompurin is in theGemstone Mountainbiome. This area is above the Spooky Swamp. The simplest way to access the Gemstone Mountain is torepair the ziplineabove theGhost Tour Ride fast-travel mailbox. This zipline needstwo Sparksto repair.
Sparks are crafted withLight Stone, a reward from gifting items to Kuromi.
After using the zipline, get off the beach and head into town. Follow the post signs west, past theGemstone Townfast travel point and Pekkle. Continue northwest and there will be a huge ravine. Jump down to find Pompompurin’s dessert restaurant, where he should be inside.
The closest fast travel mailbox isOasis, above the ravine.
Gifts To Give PomPompurrin
When you first meet Pompompurin, you may not have any of the items needed to please him. Pompompurin’s gift tags aredesserts,calmitems, andmilk. The easiest thing you may acquire first isCoral Milk.
Everything Pompompurin likes (desserts) requires you to level him up in order to unlock his dessert kitchen. Early in the game, Coral Milk will be the quickest thing you can get your hands on to gift him something.
Coral Milk is lootable underwater. You cannot swim underwater until you unlock the ability tocraft a Snorkel. To do that, you mustunlock thequestDeep Divingwith Kuromiby getting her to friendship Level Six.
Once you upgrade Pompompurin’s friendship toLevel Four, you will be able to use his kitchen to craft him favorable desserts as gifts.
Friendship Rewards
Leveling up your friendship with Pompompurin will unlocktwo Avatar color palettes,three furniturepieces, one crafting plan, two dessertrecipes, and aStamina Apple Slice. Befriending Pompompurin unlocks a lot more stuff than some other characters. He gives you access to a crucial crafting machine and multiple other recipes.

Quests From PomPompurrin
Each Friend on the island has at least one quest associated with leveling up their friendship. Pompompurin hastwo story queststhat must be unlocked by leveling up his friend levels. One quest is unlocked early on, atLevel Four, unlocking the ability to craft Desserts at his restaurant. The second quest is unlocked atLevel Seven, and requires you to do a fetch quest for Pompompurin.
