Sanrio characters aren’t all peaceful and adorable, and Retsuko is a shining example of this. Sometimes known as Aggretusko, this newer Sanrio character has quite a temper, so it only makes sense that he is found on Mount Hothead inHello Kitty Island Adventure.

In this guide, we are going to take a look at how you can find and eventually befriend Retsuko in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. This will include her favorite gifts and friendship rewards as well. She is not found in the starting area, which means that you won’t immediately be able to befriend her at the start of the game.

Where To Find Retsuko

Retsuko isfound on Mount Hothead, which has some requirements to reach. Thankfully, they aren’t too difficult. Firstly, you will need tocomplete the quest called Power Up the Gate. This quest happens pretty early into the game and isneeded to go basically anywhere besides the Seaside Resort.

Once this quest is done, you can technicallyreach Mount Hothead by running through the Spooky Swamp and across the beaches of Gemstone Mountain. This is a long route, but there are bridges and raised land that connect all these locations.

If you complete the quest Finding Flippers and unlock swimming, then you can also justswim across the water from the Seaside Resort to Mount Hothead. You’ll end up at the lower beaches, but if you want to reach a higher level, you can climb up.

There is a mailbox nearby Retsuko’s location,so aftercompleting the quest to unlock these fast-travel pointsand visiting the mailbox at least once, you’re able to use it to quickly teleport to Retsuko.

If Retsuko isn’t in the central area of Mount Hothead, don’t worry. Here at TheGamer, she was in the Hotsprings area of Mount Hothead when we went to speak with her. If you ever can’t find Retsuko, just look for her icon on the map.
