When you startHello Kitty Island Adventure, there is a core group of characters that you may interact with. These residents are spread across the islands, offering a variety of quests for you to complete. Eventually, you’ll be able to venture to new locations and meet even more adorable characters.
One such character that you can meet once you make it to City Town is Usahana. You will be able to make friends with her just like normal. In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to find and befriend Usahana in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
Where To Find Usahana
As mentioned above, Usahana isfound in City Town.You won’t be able to visit this location immediately though. Instead, there are quite a few requirements. The main two quests that you’ll need to get done areShip Shape and Into The Fog.Both of these quests connect, andfocus on repairing and sailing a boat to reach City Town.
In order to start Ship Shape, you’ll need tocomplete Deep Diving, Keep It Reel, and A Zipline Adventure.On top of this, you’ll need to befriendship level seven withCinnamoroll, Keroppi,Badtz-maru,Kuromi, andChococat.
Once you complete Ship Shape, you’ll need to wait a day until beginning Into The Fog. At the end of this quest,you’ll officially meet Usahana.
Gifts To Give Usahana
Like everyone over on Friendship Island, Usahana loves receiving gifts. You’ll be able to give her gifts with theImagination, Mochi, and Rainbow tags.These appear as achef’s hat, some mochi, and a rainbow going into a cloud.
Anything with at least one of these tags will provide one heart, but you can also givetwo-heart gifts,which we’ve listed below. It’s worth noting thatUsahana doesn’t seem to have any three-heart gifts just yet.
Any Mochi Flavor
Any Dango Flavor
In return for giving Usahana a gift,she will give you rice.This can be used to make Rice Flour, which is then used to make Mochi.
So, how do even get these gifts? Immediately after meeting Usahana, you won’t be able to give her Mochi and Dango. You’ll only be able to make these once you unlock the Imagination Cafe(which is done through a quest that unlockswhen your friendship with Usahana is level three).
Usahana’s liked tags are a bit unique too; prior to venturing to City Town,you’ve probably never seen them before.Thankfully, there isone common gift that you can catch in the nearby area.Around City Town,you can find the Colorpillar critter.
We suggestgiving Usahana Colorpillars in order to increase your friendship with her.Once you obtain gifts like Mochi, you can then give her those. For now though,stick to the critter.
Friendship Rewards
There are15 levels of friendship that you can progress throughwith Usahana. Unlike most other characters in the game, youwon’t be able to become Best Friends with her.The highest level of friendship is just Close Friends, but this may change in the future.

This quest unlocks the Imagination Cafe computer, where you can take orders.

Chef’s Kiss is an ability that increases the chances ofcooking extra food items at the Chef’s Station.
Quests From Usahana
While leveling up your friendship with Usahana, you’ll come across several quests that you’re able to complete. We recommendcompleting these quickly, as they unlock new features,such as the Imagination Cafe, where you can cook new food items.

Description
A Whole New Menu
This quest tasks you with showing Usahana the Seaside Resort, and then finding a key to the Imagination Cafe.
Once inside the cafe, you’ll need to cook some Mochi, and then the cafe will officially unlock.
Imagination Cafe
You need to complete A Whole New Menu before doing this quest.
This quest tasks you with making a variety of Mochi for Usahana, as well as one final Dango.
All of this was a test to see if you may handle customers. You pass, and then you’ll unlock the Imagination Cafe Computer.
Tea Time
You need to complete Imagination Cafe before doing this quest.
This quest serves as the tutorial for making Boba, so expect to be doing a lot of cooking.
Renovation Imagination
You need to complete Tea Time before doing this quest.
This quest involves giving the Imagination Cafe a ‘makeover’, changing the exterior, and placing furniture. This is ultimately in preparation for a Grand Opening.

Lastly, we havepotential daily quests that may appear.Each day, you’ll receive a handful of daily quests, so there isno guarantee that you’ll even get one from Usahana,but it’s still possible. Below, you can check out all the Usahana-related daily quests that may be active.
