Friendship is important inHello Kitty Island Adventure. As you increase your friendship and complete quests for the residents of the island, you’ll unlock tons of new content. Some of this content may even lead to new characters that you can befriend as well.
One such character that you can eventually unlock is Wish Me Mell. This is an adorable little rabbit who makes her first appearance when you visit the Merry Meadow and complete a short quest. In this guide, we’ll take a look at how to meet her for the first time, as well as everything you need to know about your friendship with Wish Me Mell in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
Where To Find Wish Me Mell
Wish Me Mell isfound in the Merry Meadow,but there are a few steps that you need to complete first. Firstly,the area needs to be unlocked. This is done by completing the quest calledCurious Caverns, which unlocks after alsocompleting Revive the Oasis.
After this, Curious Caverns will unlock. The quest itself is rather short and itvery quickly earns you access to Merry Meadow.From here, there are just a few more quests, which you can find below. The quest chain will trigger when you pick up the doll next to the mailbox.
Interestingly, Merry Meadow islocated under a waterfall on Gemstone Mountain.After you visit for the first time andunlock the mailbox, you’ll be able toteleport there quickly without needing to find the waterfall.
Once you finish the final quest, Wish Me Mell will be available for you to befriend! At first,she’ll linger around the first mailbox in Merry Meadow,making her quite easy to find. If she is ever not there, justlook for her icon on the map.
Gifts To Give Wish Me Mell
When you unlock Wish Me Mell, you’ll be able toshower her with gifts.Her favorite tags areFire, Flower, and Rare,which look like aflame, a flower (this kinda looks like a gear), and a sparkly diamond.
If you give her a gift that has just one of these tags, it will be a one-heart gift, butyou can also give her two and three-heart gifts,which are on the table below.

In return for giving her a gift,Wish Me Mell will give you Honeycomb,which can be crafted into Beeswax to make candles.
So, you may be a bit confused about what to actually give her. Right after speaking with her for the first time, you won’t be able to make candles. In order to do this, you’ll needaccess to the Creation Station, which is unlocked through the quest A Place To Art.
For now, you’ll need togive her some one-heart gifts.One of the best options iscritters and fish with the Rare tag.For example,after fishing right next to the Potion hut in Spooky Swamp, we accumulated a stack ofTiny Bog Clamfish.This fish has the Rare stage,making it a great gift.
After planting seeds in Merry Meadow andgrowing flowers,you can give these to Wish Me Mell. While it’s not ideal to rely on one-heart gifts, it’s really youronly option until you unlock candle-making.
Leveling up friendship with Wish Me Mell is no easy task, as it requires a lot of XP. Don’t expect to blaze through the friendship levels!

Wish Me Mell has20 levels of friendship that you may complete.Below, you can check out each level, as well as what it unlocks. You’ll get some crafting plans early into your friendship with her, butthese can’t be used just yet.

Master Gardener gives you achance to get a bonus seed from the Seed Dispenser,while Precision Playreduces the movement speed of prizes in the Crane Craze minigame by 25 percent.
Quests From Wish Me Mell
While leveling up your friendship with Wish Me Mell,you’ll unlock several quests.You can check out each quest below, as well as a brief overview.
Description
Green Thumbs
You need access to the Merry Meadows Plaza to start this quest (done by growing a Beanstalk).
This quest ultimately unlocks the Seed Dispenser, teaching you how to use it.
Mulch Be Well
You’ll also need to complete Green Thumbs.
This quest ultimately unlocks the Composter, which provides fertilizer for you to use while growing flowers.
Dig It Up
You need to complete Mulch Be Well before starting this quest.
This quest also unlocks something; the Trowel. You’ll be told about it, and then you’ll need to craft your own.
The Trowel is used to move flowers and replant them.
Care Packages
This quest tasks you with making care packages for Wish Me Mell’s friends. You’ll do a variety of tasks including taking selfies, gathering paper, and then speaking to other characters.
Daily Quests
Lastly, we have thepotential daily quests that may show upeach day. Wish Me Mell only hasfive associated daily quests(with three of them being the same), so you may go a few days without seeing one. Fortunately, they are all pretty simple to complete.
