Reaching the endgame ofMonster Hunter Wildswill ask a lot of you, and if you want access to all the resources and hunts in the game, you’ll need to complete side quests like Echoing from the Cliffs. The tempered monsters you’ll face in it are no joke, and you need to fight two of them to complete the quest.

You’ll be fighting in the frigid environs of the Iceshard Cliffs, hunting a Blangonga and a Hirabami. These monsters share a weakness, so you won’t need to swap weapons, but coming unprepared will see you sent straight back to camp.

How To Start The Echoing From The Cliffs Side Quest

Before you canstart Echoing from the Cliffs,you need tobe Hunter Rank 31and havecompleted Chapters 5-3in the story A Break in the Clouds. Once you meet those requirements,head to the village of Suja and speak to Apar.

You’ll knowAparby her height: shestands almost twice as tall as your Hunter, holds a spear, and wears a large sun hat. She’ll mention that your target monsters are causing a commotion and ask if there’s anything you may do. As it happens, you can.

How To Complete The Echoing From The Cliffs Side Quest

There’s nothing complicated about Echoing from the Cliffs. Simplyhunt theBlangongaandHirabamihowever you choose, either by slaying or capturing them. You can then return to Apar in Suja for your reward.

Both monsterson this quest are primarilyweak to fire weapons. You won’t need to change weapons if you have a fire element weapon you enjoy. The Iceshard Cliffs aren’t as replete with natural hazards to exploit as elsewhere in the game, but you canmake good use of Shock and Pitfall traps, as well as other monsters, as you need to.

Bewareof theBlangonga’s group of smaller Conga monsters, as they can deal minor but possibly run-ending damage. They might also block your way to their larger pack leader, eating damage when you need it most.

Rewards For Completing The Echoing From The Cliffs Side Quest

As a hunt for tempered monsters,the most valuable rewards you get from Echoing from the Cliffs are theArtian weapon partsand Hunter Symbols, both of which you’ll need for the Monster Hunter Wilds endgame. The High Rank monster materials are a nice bonus, too.
