Each quest inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2is a unique interaction between Henry and the characters available in both regions in the game. While some quests are more serious matters, others are just fun and/or a bit silly.
Take the Damsel in Distress quest, for example - it’s a perfect example of a lighthearted, fun quest that you can stumble upon simply by exploring south of Kuttenberg. As the title suggests, you’ll need to help a lady in a distressing situation, but there’s a catch. This guide is here to walk you through what to expect.
How To Start The Damsel In Distress Quest
You can either get this quest from a Tipster or head directly to the location, which isthe mill located between Bylany and Old Lhota.
When you approach the area,you’ll hear a woman screaming from a shed, asking to be let out as she’s locked inside.
Now, in order to help her, you’ll need tounlock the shed door, either bylockpickingit or using themultipurpose keyif you have one on you.
How To Complete The Damsel In Distress Quest
After unlocking the shed door,speak to the woman inside, and she will ask for your help in figuring out why she is trapped by the miller.
To investigate,head to the miller’s woodshed,locatedjust to the south. When you arrive, you’ll find the place empty, so simply return to the shed.
However, when you return,the woman will no longer be there. Instead, you’ll findthe miller and a guard, with whom you can engage in conversation.
Through the conversation, you’ll learn that the woman you freed is not actually his wife but a thief, andyou essentially helped her escape.
At this point, you’ll have a few options to make it up to the miller:
Whichever option you choose, the quest will be completed, but note thatyou won’t receive any reward.
