Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2presents a vast world to explore, with a map much larger than the first game’s. It features two expansive regions, each filled with settlements and characters, each offering their own stories, challenges, and quests.
Every character you encounter has a unique quest that Henry can decide to take on, often with rewards for his effort. One such quest in the Kuttenberg region is Mouth of Hell. This guide will provide you with all the details you need to successfully complete it.
How To Start The Mouth Of Hell Quest
Make your way toOld Kutna, located northwest of Kuttenberg city, where you should finda priest standing near the church.
Speak to him, and you will start the Mouth of Hell quest, where you need toinvestigate the mines from a so-called demon.
How To Complete The Mouth Of Hell Quest
Make your way to themines west of Old Kutna, where you will find the mine entrance. Go down the ladder, which willtrigger a cutscene where Henry falls to the bottom of the mine.
After the cutscene, you won’t have any of your inventory, and you need tofind your way out of the mines. Progress forward andtake the path to the left side, where you will see a human running away.
Keep moving forward until you come across aTorchon a barrel. Pick it up to helpilluminate the path.
Eventually, you will reach what looks like a camp belonging to the knight you saw.
To the right side,you will find a bed, and on top, there should bea lockpick. Pick it up to use on thesmall red chest. From the chest,take the Knight’s Contractand read it, as you will need it later.
You will then hear the knight speaking.Take the ladder up and follow him. Eventually, you will catch up, but he can attack you quickly.
This is where the Knight’s Contract comes in, as you will have an additional dialogue option to ‘Say the words from the knight’s contract.’ Doing this will prevent the knight from attacking you directly and instead trigger a conversation with him.
After that, you will have a few other options to choose from. We recommendlying and selecting ‘Yes, I’ll take over from you,’so he can help you get out of the mines easily and return all your items.
Once you get outside the mines, you will find the people waiting for you,warning you about the knight. However, since you picked up the Knight’s Contract, you will have an additional option saying ‘This contract explains everything.’
After that,you can convince the people not to fight, which should be easy, andeverything will be resolved peacefully. You will then complete the Mouth of Hell quest.
