These Paths actas parkour challenges, usually taking place on hills or mountains and requiring you to use many different skills in your parkour repertoire. But as a reward for completing these paths, you’ll find a chest that contains a unique armor or weapon; some of these are going to come in especially handy, and for completionists, they’re necessary.

How To Find The Path Of Peril
The Path of Peril is found on thewest side of the map, almost as far west as you can possibly go.It’s sandwiched between Harima and Tamba, and west of Mount Kasagata. The terrain here is going to be especially problematic to navigate, but there’s a mountain pass that can lead you much of the way up.
All paths areindicated by yellow markings; usually, these are yellow ribbons tied to sticks or other decorations in an area. In the case of the Path of Peril, it’s going to lead you to a small wooden structure with a campfire.

How To Complete The Path Of Peril
The Path of Peril is, like most of the Paths, fairlyeasy to complete, as long as you aren’t trying to go too fast.
There’s no need to speedrun these Paths, and when you aren’t familiar with them, that can lead to a big fall, causing you to have to backtrack.

The first part of this Path requires you tograpple onto a pole sticking out of the rock above you, swinging over to the ledge across the gap.
Then, leap onto the pole sticking out of the ledgein front of this next gap, and onto the rock that’s slightly to the right.

From this rock, jump onto the pole sticking out of the rock on your left, and then onto the platform.
This next step is a pretty long grapple-jump; you’ll need tograpple and jump all the way onto the rock pillar in the middle of the trees.

This isn’t as difficult as it looks; just be sure to maintain your momentum when you jump from the grapple.
Walk across the ropeall the way onto the ledge at the other end of the chasm.

This next bit has a few jumps, starting with the rock just ahead of you, and thenacross multiple branches and stones that wind along the cliff on the left.
You’ll need to be very deliberate about where you’re aiming when you jump here because it’s easy to accidentally leap in the wrong direction and need to start again.

Climb up the rocks on your left, andgrapple up the large wallthat you come to.
Next, you’ll need to walk through the gap in the rocks on your left, and thenwalk across the tree that extends horizontally, all the way onto the rock platform, and then across the rope bridge.

Crawl prone through the hole in the rockin front of you, and then leap from the branch that extends over the gap, and then to the small cliff on your right.
From there, jump over to the cliff on the left, andwalk across the rope that connects this cliffto the larger one at the other end of the gap.

There’s going to be a staircase on your left, but before you go up that staircase, be sure toopen the chest on the right of that staircase; it’s going to contain a variety of different materials.
Head up that staircase, andthen leap from that edge onto the stone platformin front of you.

Walk across the ropes, and thenleap from the stone platform at the end onto the cliffon the left.
Climb up the small elevation on the rocks, andwalk over the loglying across the chasm.
This will be another section where you’ll need to take your time and be deliberate with your jumps because it’s very easy to find yourself jumping in completely the wrong direction.Jump onto each wooden pole sticking out of the ground, and onto the stone pillar.
From the stone pillar, swing on your grapple from the tree branch extending over the gap, and onto the platform on the other end.
From that platform, jump the small gap, and thenclimb up the rock on your left.
Finally, simplywalk up that path, winding up and to the left, eventually to a chest that you’ll find on your right.
