As with all events debuting alongside multi-character banners, Savage Overture comes with a wealth of rewards to earn and a fun new mini-game to try out over the event’s duration. The best part is, the event’s storyline directly ties in with the limited-timecards you can earn from the Wish Pool.
With all the hype around Tomorrow’s Catch-22, many of you have been wondering just where Infold was going with the shockingly dramatic theme. Luckily, you don’t need to pull the limited cards to get the full story. Savage Overture walks you through everything you need to know about the world presented in the new banner.

Savage Overture
Savage Overture is aninvestigation eventin which you will beinterrogating each of the Love Interestsas suspects for an LCBI (Linkon City Bureau of Investigation) mission.
Each of the five love interests has adifferent roleto play in the investigation, buteach storyline is separate,and you aren’t tied to just one.
As you complete your investigation, you will need to earnand purchase special event materialsfrom theActivity LogandSupply Center. You need these materials toprogress your investigationand raise yourTrust Levelwith the suspects during interrogation.
Activity Log
The Activity Log is yourmain source of income(and intel) for this event. As you complete the event task, you will earnMugshot Boards,which can be exchanged in the Supply Center forinterrogation toolsand other rewards.
As youcollect Mugshot Boards,you will also earnEffect Supressants, which are necessary forunlocking event stagesin the Classified Files screen.
Some activities requiredaily participation,like completing theDaily Agenda or spending 300 points of Stamina, while others areone-time achievementsthat reward you for things likepulling event memories, watchingevent stories, andcompleting minigamestages.
Supply Center
The Supply Center is the event shop where you willexchange your hard-earned Mugshot Boardsfor prizes and interrogation tools.
The highlights of the event shop are10 Deepspace Wish: Limited,which you can use in theTomorrow’s Catch-22pool, anAwakening Heart: SSR, a limited player outfit, and, of course, thenecessary interrogation toolsyou will need to conduct Secret Meetings.
Story Stages
There aresix story stagesin the event per character,totaling thirty story stagesover all five characters. In each stage, you’ll learn more and more about how the suspectsconnect to your investigation.
To unlock story stages, you need touse Effect Supressantsand wait for each stage to unlock. Stages unlock aboutevery two days.
How To Complete Secret Infiltration
Secret infiltration is aminigamein which you need tomaneuver your suspects up an obstacle courseto collectCurisoty Boxes,Evidence Boxes, andClassified Intel.
Evidence boxesunlock Evidencein the Evidence file at thetop rightof the Secret Infiltration screen. The Evidence you earn will directly tie into your investigation, butnot every file appliesto every suspect.
Thegeneral rulesof Secret infiltration are simple. Use thearrow buttonsat the bottom of the screen to maneuver your suspectup a series of obstacles, obtainingBoxesalong the way. You also need to complete the coursewithin the time limitat the top of your screen.
Falling into thered laserat the bottom of the screen will result in theend of the round.
Hitting certain obstacles mayhurt your suspect,hindertheir progress, orkill them outright,so be careful when sending them through the course. Every Area has adifferent special obstaclethan the last. All the obstaclesstack upas you progress into higher-level areas.
Areas alsounlock on certain days, so you won’t be able to complete all areas at once.
Each day, you will also have acap on the amount of Classified Intelthat you can earn with each suspect. Thedaily level capsare as follows:

Obstacles
There are many obstacle types introduced in each Area andmost will roll overinto subsequent levels.
There arefive platform types, but not all of them are safe to stand on. For instance,red Electric Gridswill removeone heart of HPfrom your suspect when stepped on. After being activated, these platformsreturn to normal,but the damage will already have been done.
Fragile Platforms(which look like crumbling stones)will breakafter being stood on for a few seconds. You need tojump off of these obstacles quicklyto avoid being dropped to lower levels or even into theelectric wireat the bottom of the map.
Conveyor BeltsandSpringboardsaren’t inherently dangerous, but if you’re not careful about what direction you go after standing on them, they maylaunch or drop you into other obstacles. Spring Boards willpropel you two levelsinto the air and Conveyor Belts willmove youin the direction that their arrows are facing.
Prioritize collecting Boxesin a level, however,not allboxes are safely obtained. For instance, some levels will place boxesover Electric GridsorFragile Platforms.If you know thatyou may diein the attempt,don’t collectthe Boxes. You canreplayAreas as many times as you want to reach thedaily Intel cap.
Infinite Mode
Infinite mode is aspecial challenge modewith no exit. Infinite Mode contains all of thesame obstacles, rewards, and mechanicsof Secret Infiltration, including an initialone-minute timerper level.
The difference is that, in Infinite Mode, you have thepotentialto play the gameinfinitely.Rather than being scored based on the total number of Classified Intel you earn within the time limit, you’ll bescored based on the highest levelyou reach before time runs out.
You start with a one-minute timer, but if youcollect golden time extenders, you’ll gain a few more seconds. Keep collecting these time extenders as you progress up the map. If yourun outof time,hit the red laser, orlose all three of your hearts, you’lllosethe game. Try tobeat your high scoreeach round.
How To Interrogate The Love Interests
Interrogating the suspects is a bit of a process, and rightly so. You’re looking into their criminal wrongdoings, so theyaren’t inclined to offer information easily. As a result, you will need tobe patient and thoroughin your investigation.
To enter an interrogation,select the Meet buttonon the main event screen.
As youdiscover and present new evidenceto your suspects, their trust level with you will increase. The higher the trust level, themore intelyou will receive from them about your investigation.
The caveat is that while you mayearn all the materialsyou need to improve your trust level early on, youwon’t be able to use themuntil they are unlocked by the whole server. Some trust levels only unlock on certain days, so you’ll have towait until the time is rightbefore you’re able to learn new information from your suspects.
As you increase your trust level, you will also getcloser and closer to the suspectphysically. Each levelremoves a barrierbetween you and the suspects. For instance, Trust Level Tworemoved the first layerof the suspect’s cage. Eventually, you should be able tostand before themwithout incident.
Try tapping on your suspectsin the event and interrogation screens. You may be surprised by what you learn.
Trust Level
Trust level isvitalin your interrogation. A suspect who doesn’t trust youwon’t be inclined to open upor make any confessions.
To increase your trust level with a suspect,present them with evidencethat you earned from yourSecret Infiltrations. When presented with evidence, the suspects will start to fill you in on clues that you are missing.
Asuspect who trusts youwon’t have difficulty working with you during your investigation.
Your daily Classified Intel cap isuniversalfor all of the love interests. However, you can only allocate a set amount of Classified Intel toone love interest at a time. Until the final daily cap is met, you won’t be able to unlock full trust levels for all five love interests. Make your choices accordingly.
you may also raise trust level by presenting a suspect withspecial items in Secret Meeting.
Secret Meeting
In Secret Meeting, you won’t just be presenting evidence to your suspects, you will beusing tools to get them to talk. Some tools are more forceful than others, but for the most part, they are alldesigned to get informationfrom a subject.
Some subjects are more susceptible to interrogation techniques than others. TheTruth Serum,for instance, won’t work on every suspect.
After using an Interrogation Tool on a subject, you mightearn a valuable piece of informationabout them or their connection to your investigation.
If an interrogation event includesdialogue choices, don’t worry about picking the right or wrong one. You canreplay any interrogation eventfrom the Secret Meeting screen to seeall the possible permutationsof the interaction.
Once you have unlockedone Secret Meeting itemfrom the Supply Center, you will haveunlocked it for all suspectsand can use it as many times as you wish.
All Interrogation Tools And What They Do
Each Interrogation Toolonly needs to be unlocked onceand each suspect will react differently to them.
You can usefive tools on each of the suspects, with each oneunlocking at a different trust level. Four of the tools can be useduniversally, regardless of the love interest they are used on, while thefifth toolwill be unique for each one of them.
You cannot unlock all Interrogation Tools or all Trust Levels until you have reached thefinal Classified Intel cap of 1,500 Classified Intel.

Ask what he did before joining the LCBI
Ask him to confess what’s on his mind
Ask when he’s most vulnerable
Ask about his interrogation techniques
Ask what he’d do if someone used him
Ask what he’d do if you used him
Ask if he’s done something embarrassing
Ask how he’d respond to being framed
Ask for his closest guarded secret
Ask what he’d do if you were in his custody
Calms him with your scent
Confesses he designed the drug
Makes him slightly more possessive
He claims you share his smell
He doesn’t divulge what he’s smelling
Command Relay
Ask him to sing ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’
Ask him to tell you three lies with a straight face
He gets snarky and threatens revenge.
Ask him to imitate a small, cute animal
Ask him to be cute for you
Illusion Mask
He claims it has no reaction because he sees you anyway
He claims that the person he cares about is right in front of him
He asks whatyousee
He says he sees memories of you
The fifth interrogation tool is unique for each love interest and will reflect a facet of their personality. You need to buy these tools in the Supply Center. Here is the full list of unique interrogation tools:

‘I can imagine how terrified they were.’
‘How did you manage that?’
‘This book is pretty interesting’
‘Then let me be your boss for a few days’

Current And Upcoming Events
Since Savage Overture is amulti-character eventdirectly following two other multi-character events, therearen’t many other eventsrunning. With theNew Year’s celebrationsmostly over in Linkon City, everyone is winding down after the festivities and settling into theroutine of the new year, including the Love Interests.
However, there are a fewroll-over eventsfrom the tail-end of the New Year’s festivities. Among them is the largely popularIllusio eventwhich has been extended for almost an entire extra monthdue to popular demand. During Illusio, you may replay any Kindled memory withcustom outfits.The event now ends onFebruary 28.
The most notable events on the roster are thelimited Tomorrow’s Catch-22 Wish Pooland theLanternet Giftgiveaway.
In Lanternet Gift, you willearn special rewards for logging ineach day of the event. There areeight daysof login rewards, but the event runs forten days, meaning you havetwo days of leewayif you miss one. The highlight of the offered gifts are300 Diamondsand2,400 Chocolatesto spend in the shop.
Lanternet Gift will end onFebruary 19.
Finally, theTomorrow’s Catch-22 Wish Pool— which ties in directly with this event — will run untilFebruary 26. During the event period, you haveincreased oddsof pullingfive limited-time alternate universe memories.You will also earnMemory Growth Rewardsfor upgrading the event memories during the event period.
