For instance, Johann Parler wants to safeguard the Church of Saint Barbara from disaster. To do this, he asks Henry to steal certain talismans and use them to forge a protective axe.

How To Start The Warding Off Evil Quest

You first need tocomplete Speak of the Devil main quest, thenhead to the Emperor Charles TaverninKuttenberg Cityand make your way tothe second floor.

Here, you should findJohann Parler, and you can speak to him. After you do that, he willask for your help in forging a protective axethat will help him protect the building.

Since you will be doing some stealing for Parler, we recommend that you do it during the night.

Head to thebuilding to the northwherethe A objective markis, and you will come acrossa house that has some stairs outsideleading to the upper floor. Take the stairs and then lockpick the door, but be careful as there might be someone inside.

Once inside the house,you will find a ladder. Take it, and to the left, there will bea table that has theHoly Nailyou need. Pick it up.

How To Find The Horseshoe Hanging Above The Door

Now, for the second item, you need tomake your way to the west of the city toward the B objective, where the tailor is located.

Go through the arch entrance and thentake the first door to the left side. After you get inside,there will be another entrance to the left side as well, and justabove the door,you will be able tosee the horseshoe;Found HorseshoeMake sure to steal it.

How To Find The Coin From The Building Foundation

All the way to the east now,toward the C objective mark,this will lead you to theHangman’s Halter Tavern. Go inside and thentake the second door to the left side, which leads to the basement.

Here,to the room on the right side, you will be able to seea suspicious wall. Interact with it, and you will be able to get theCommemorative Coin.

With all three items that you just obtained, you will be able toforge the protective axe, and thiscan be done at any smithing table.

Go to the nearest one, select the Protective Axe recipe, andstart the smithing process. After you’re done, you will get the axe and you’re ready to deliver it.
