How To Counter Iron Man
Iron Man’s biggest strength is his ability to fly where melee heroes can’t touch him. Additionally, he can shoot missiles that deal AoE damage and can hit multiple targets at once. His ultimate is also very powerful where he releases a blast that can wipe out multiple heroes in one hit.
However, if you’re playing a ranged hero who candeal sustained damage, Iron Man will stop being a problem. Once you pick a character who can deal damage from range (Punisher or Hawkeye for instance), you may pretty muchtrack his movementsno matter how much he flies and take him down within seconds.

When it comes to Vanguards, you have a couple of options for dealing with Iron Man. The first option to go with isHulkwho can knock down Iron Man from the sky with his Incredible Leap ability. Additionally, Hulk can stun Iron Man with his Gamma Burst ability, which further creates openings for your team to take the latter down pretty easily.

When it comes to Duelists, there are multiple options that allow you to deal with Iron.Punisheris the best counter to the flying menace as the former can simply spam his basic attacks and shoot down Iron Man. Additionally, Punisher’s ultimate is dangerous, and it can shred through Iron Man within seconds.
Hawkeyeis another great Iron Man counter as he can knock the latter down with his Hypersonic Arrow. Hawkeye’s charged attacks are also lethal, as they can one-shot Iron Man in any instant. Finally, Hawkeye’s ultimate can track Iron Man’s afterimages and shut the latter no matter where he tries to fly away.
Helais also very good against Hawkeye as she can deal sustained damage from range which is one of the best counters to Iron Man.
Spider-Man is also a good counter to Iron Man as the former can stun the latter with his ultimate and Get Over Here abilities. The problem is Spider-Man is hard to play, so only the best players will be able to pilot him properly.
