How To Craft
To get started,you’ll need a Workbench.You canpurchase this at Sgt. Lakes Outpostor find one in containers scattered across the map. Once obtained, place theWorkbenchinside your cabin or tent, interact with it, andcombine two or more itemsto craft new gear.
However, simply owning a Workbench isn’t enough — you’ll need todiscover recipes to craft specific items. This is where theCrafting Bookcomes into play. This bookis available for 60 mkat theorange vending machinelabeledKyrre’s EquipmentatSgt. Lakes Outpost, which you can reach via boat. Once you acquire the book, you’ll be able to see all recipes you can craft.
You can unlock even more recipes and add weapon attachments if you get an Advanced Workbench. You can find this through looting.
What Can You Craft?
You can craftfurniture, gates, weapons,seeds,andupgraded equipment— among many other similar items. Afew items require blueprints, which arecrafted from four research documentsfound inlocked vaults inside underground bunkers. These vaults require access cards, dropped by NPC soldiers found in the bunkers at Jumo Island and Krokon Island.
