Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobylhas its fair share of challenging quests, and Ad Astra Per Aspera is one of them. After completing the In Search of a Guide quest, you will be given all the necessary information about the Clear Sky base.
To get to the base, you will need to deactivate four Psi-Beacons, but it won’t be easy at all. There would be tons of mutants and other creatures in the areas containing the psi-beacons. So, you would have to fight and make your way to deactivate the beacons, which is hard but apparently isn’t the most challenging bit of the quest.

How To Get The Suit With High Psi-Protection
Once you are done talking to Nimble, different coordinates will appear on your map. Following them will take you to the respective Psi-Beacon, but traveling through the swamps is going to be tough. You may notice an optional objectivesuggesting you acquire a suit with high psi protection.
The Cuirass Exoskeleton Suit is one of the best armors in the game, so going out of your way to get it is a smart choice. However, if you don’t want to travel this much, you can do The Side Hustle quest in order to get the SSP-99 Ecologist Suit.

The game won’t tell you where to get the suit, but we managed to find one. To get the suit, you would need tohead to the SKD Assembly Unit in Cooling Towers. Getting there will take a lot of your time as this place is quite far, but it will be worth it.
Once you are in the place, do not drop your guard, as there are tons of hostile soldiers at the destination.Equip your sniper and take them out one by one.

Once you have bested them in combat, go upstairs until you see a narrow hallway in front of you. Follow the path, head up the stairs, go ahead and on your left, there will be some loot and a Cuirass Exoskeleton Suit.
You won’t be able to sprint or even speedwalk while wearing this suit. So verify to upgrade it once to be able to sprint.

After you have acquired the suit,be ready for more combat, as the place will be stormed by soldiers any second.
Navigating Through The Swamps
Reaching the Psi-Beacons through the swamps is perhaps the hardest part of this quest. That is why you need tobe fully prepared and have a suit with high Psi-Protection. That said, just having the suit isn’t enough for you to navigate through the swamps.
The following are some tips to keep in mind:
How To Deactivate The Pumping Station Psi-Beacon
As soon as you reach the Pumping Station, you will start to hallucinate, but the effect will be minimal if you have the suit equipped or if you have taken a Psi-Block.
Do keep in mind that theController, one of the most annoying enemies, will be there. To defeat it, you would first need to beat the zombies, and as soon as the Controller is alone, equip your shotgun and be as aggressive as possible.Do not let it spot you from a long-range, as its range of attack is pretty massive.

Fighting the Controller at close range is ideal as, this way, you’re able to deal maximum damage, and it won’t be able to use its psi attacks as often as it wants to.
Once you have defeated all of the enemies, head to the top and deactivate the Psi-Beacon. Navigating your way to the top won’t be that tough, as it is pretty straightforward.

Once you have deactivated the first Psi-Beacon, it is time to head over to the Burnt Farmstead one. As the name suggests, this area features Fire Anomalies, so you won’t be able to blindly walk around. That said, the Fire Anomaliescan be used to your advantage.
Once you are at the destination, you will be attacked by a bunch of blind dogs. you may use the Fire Anomalies to kill off the dogs by activating them with your presence. However, do not solely rely on them, and kill as many as you can by shooting them.

After that, simply deactivate the Psi-Beaconon the top of a watchtower. When you are done, you will be attacked by some more mutants.Psy Dogwill be among them, and it can cause you a headache. At first, the mutant will appear as a single dog, but as soon as you start fighting, it will make copies of itself.
If you don’t want to fight the Psy Dog, you can always run away, as it will also save you time.

Those copies will be illusions, but they will deal you damage. However, you may finish them off with a single shot.Your main aim should be finding the real one, as it will most likely stay away from the fight. Once spotted, be as aggressive as possible to kill the mutant before it summons more copies.
How To Deactivate The Old Church Psi-Beacon
Once you reach the Old Church,a cat mutant, also known as Bayun, will be waiting for you. It is a pretty agile mutant, so attempt to beat it as quickly as possible, preferably with a shotgun. Once you have defeated the mutant, find yellow planks on the ground. Once done, break them with your knife and jump down.
Before performing the jump, make sure you have unequipped the Cuirass Exoskeleton Suit as if you haven’t upgraded it, you won’t be able to sprint to make the jump.

Now, you will have to crouch in order to go further. You will soon find a hole, so climb up and then continue climbing to the ledge. Now, you have to do a little parkour, but first, break the box in front of you. When done, sprint and jump to the staircaseand go up.
Once you have climbed the stairs, navigate to the roof and enter the attic on your left.In front of you will be the Psi-Beacon,so deactivate it. After that, head over to the opposite direction to find some loot.

How To Deactivate The Second Vanguard Psi-Beacon
This is going to be the final beacon, but reaching it will be troublesome.
Try to walk on the path where you see more grass, and you will be able to reach the Second Vanguard.
After reaching the destination, the beacon isright in front of you at the top of the tower. Use the ladder to reach the top and deactivate it.
Once you have deactivated all of the Psi-Beacons, an emission will start, so immediatelymake your way through the warren shack and find shelter. You will be attacked by somemutants, such as Bloodsuckers, on your way, but do not stop fighting them, as the emission will kill you.
Reach the shelter, descend, go ahead, and a cutscene will trigger. When the cutscene is over,Faust will disappear, but you will get his gun and your Scanner back. This will also conclude the Ad Astra Per Aspera quest.
