While Ezio Auditore’s signature catchphrase won’t appear in this quest, Revenge of the Frog takes a few pages out of another multimedia giant’s book.
George Lucas' working title for Return Of The Jedi was originallyRevengeOf The Jedi, which Tails Of Iron 2’s Revenge Of The Frog directly references with a few clever nods to the movie. Arlo sets out to find a Warlord, Glubba the Gutt, whose name is one of the least subtle Jabba the Hutt references of all time. The references don’t stop there, as Arlo and Short Tongue enter the belly of the beast in this challenging Beast Hunt.
How To Start Revenge Of The Frog
Once you return to Short Tongue’s Rift Hunter stallafter completing Requiescat In Pace,you can accept the next hunt:Revenge of the Frog.
Short Tongue explains that you have toconfront the Warlord, Glubba the Gutt,so you’re off to the right side of the map again.
Fast travel to the Temple Toadspire Ruinsagain, then head left and down to the point marked on your map.
Along the way, Arlo will pause and find a clue tipping you off to your next fight againstToadcor.Prepare your bestfireandiceweapons for the fight.
Dispatch the Rift Lancer along the way and follow the path. There’s amerchantalong the way if you want to restock.
In the next area, you’ll have to take down a handful ofRift Frogs,but they shouldn’t pose a challenge if you exploit theirIce and Electric Elementa weaknesses.
How To Defeat The Toadcor
Continue to the marker and once there, you’ll come face to face with the Warlord named Glubba, who dumps you into a pit to face hismonster, Toadcor.
If the Return of Jedi references weren’t obvious enough, they’re surely ringing a bell by now.
Turn to face theToadcorandequip the fire and ice weaponsneeded toexploit its weaknessesif you haven’t already.
Once Toadcor stands up, get in close and unload as many melee hits as possible while it gets its bearings.
When Toadcor flicks its tongue and attaches to the ceiling, prepare tododge its unparriable swinging attack,which deals heavy damage.
Back awaywhen the ground aroundToadcor glows to signal its poison or electric explosion,which creates a small cloud around the beast.
Take the opportunity to heal if you’ve sustained damage, then prepare to unleash yourFire and Ice Elementa to counterattackthe beast.
Continue your game of dodging and attacking to chip away at its health until the Toadcor is defeated. For your efforts, you’ll earn aRough Toadcor Gun,and Short Tongue will tell you to head up to confront the Warlord.
How To Defeat Glubba The Gutt
Exit to the left and defeat the Rift Frog enemies along the way, then take the path upward.
Before you ascend, check the leftmost side of the lower level of the cave to refill your potion and utilize the save point.
Once you head back to the upper level, defeat the Rift enemies guarding the Warlord, who joins the fight after the last soldier falls.
Avoid Glubba’s fiery barrel toss attack,then be aggressive to counter with a few melee attacks of your own.
Dodge Glubba’s ground slam attacks, telegraphed by a glowing red spot on the floor, and capitalize on the brief moments of recovery to keep inflicting damage.
Glubba is deceptively fast and has quick recovery times, so keep your head on a swivel, or you’ll be stuck trying to stay alive rather than taking the fight to your foe.
When Glubba isreduced to 33 percent HP remaining,he will lose his helmet andbegin recklessly tossing barrels everywhere.
Evade the barrels by closing the distance between you and Glubba, then continue your onslaught of attacks while dodging behind him. The speed of these attacks can catch you off guard, sosticking close to Glubba to avoid the barrels is essential,or you can be quickly overwhelmed.
Use Short Tongue as a distraction, as Glubba’s grab attack is very powerful, but your companion won’t mind absorbing the damage on your behalf.
With careful dodging and quick attacks, Glubba will go down, freeing the Rift and Frogs from Glubba’s tyranny.

You’ll receive the following items as a reward for your efforts to defeat the dangerous Warlord and his Toadcor:
