InHello Kitty Island Adventure, you will likely spend most time on Friendship Island, which consists of various regions. At the beginning, you’re limited to the Seaside Resort area. However, as you find power crystals or acquire various upgrades, you will unlock regions like Spooky Swamp, Rainbow Reef, Gemstone Mountain, and Mount Hothead.
While these areas appear on your map, there are also regions that don’t. One of these is Cloud Island, which is home to Kiki and Lala, characters you encounter throughout the story but can’t fully interact with at first. Additionally, Cloud Island houses several puzzle rooms. If your goal is to find them, you’re in the right place!
Cloudy Construction Puzzle Room Solution
Where To Find The Cloudy Construction Puzzle Room
To access the Sky Island with the Cloudy Construction puzzle room,your friendship level with Lala must be at least two.Then, you need toreceive the ‘Sweets in the Stars’quest she gives you. This willunlock the cloud ride to the northeast of Cloud Island Plaza, which will take you to the sky island with the Candy Cloud Machine.
Once there,head up the air current to the right of the Candy Cloud Machineand use your balloons to rise. You’ll find the entrance to the Cloudy Construction puzzle room to the north.
How To Solve The Cloudy Construction Puzzle Room
When you first enter this puzzle room, you’ll encounter a purple block. Activating this block will create a platform made up of nine tiles. Place and activate the block ahead of you to form a bridge of sorts. Once youreach the next purple block, activate it directly without moving it,and jump onto the platform that spawns to the south.
When youreach the red and purple blocks, pick up the purple one. Activate it where it willconnect with the platform you previously spawned past the ramp.Then,go to the entrance gate, take the purple block there, andcombine it with the platform created by the previous purple oneto complete a bridge.
Finally,pick up the red block, place it near the elevated section next to the entrance gate, and activate it. Use the air current from the red block to fly to the chest, where you’ll find the Decorative Mount Hothead Star Fragment Crafting Plans.
Nimble Nebula Puzzle Room Solution
Where To Find The Nimble Nebula Construction Puzzle Room
To access this puzzle room, you’ll need toreceive the ‘Star Fish’ quest from Lala.This quest becomes availableonce your friendship with her reaches level five.Additionally, you must have completed both the ‘Sweets in the Stars’ and ‘Keep It Reel’ quests beforehand.
After accepting the quest, you’ll be able touse the Cloud Ride located north of Cloud Island Plaza.Once you arrive, head to the glowing yellow ring north of the star-shaped lake and use your balloons to float up to the higher lake.
There, you’ll find another glowing yellow ring—use it toascend to the highest point of this sky island.If youmove toward the left side of this area, you’ll spot the entrance to the puzzle room.
How To Solve The Nimble Nebula Puzzle Room
In this puzzle room, your goal is tostep on all the buttonsto reach the treasure chest. Start bycrossing the three yellow cubes on the rightto reach the area with five buttons—step on all of them. Be careful, as theyellow cube platforms will fall if you stay on them too long.
Next, move across the separate yellow cubes ahead to reach another set of five buttons and activate them as well. Then,cross the three stair-like yellow cubesto reach more buttons. After that, carefully navigate the yellow cubes on your left.
Using your balloon here can help reduce the risk of falling.
Once you reach the next five buttons, step on them and head south.Step onto the purple cube, then activate the five buttons ahead. Finally,cross the yellow cubes beyond these buttonsto reach the last set.
Once you’ve stepped on all of them,the purple cubes will disappear,granting access to the treasure chest. Inside, you’ll find a Decorative Bog Star Fragment Crafting Plans.
Stratus Shuffle Puzzle Room Solution

To unlock the sky island where this puzzle room is located, you need toreach friendship level ten with Kiki.After that, you mustaccept the ‘Cloud Cabins’ questfrom him. Once you receive this quest, you’ll gain access to the sky island containing the puzzle room. However, before taking on this quest, you also need to complete ‘Sweets in the Stars’.
After finishing Cloud Cabins, you’ll be able touse the Cloud Ride southeast of Cloud Island Plaza.You’ll find the entrance to this puzzle roombetween another Cloud Ride on the right side of the sky island and Visitor Cabin number four.
How To Solve The Stratus Shuffle Puzzle Room
In this puzzle room, your only task is touse the purple cloud blocks to create platformsthat will help you reach the chest at the top. This puzzle isn’t particularly difficult. Start by grabbing the purple block closest to the entrance. Place it so that itforms a platform to the left of the unreachable block above.
Jump onto the platform you’ve created and use your balloon to glide up to the next purple block. Take this block andposition it so that it creates a platform south of the chest above.From there,jump to the right side of the chestwhere another purple block is located.
Place this final block so thatit forms a platform on the right side of the chest, then use it to reach the top. Inside the chest, you’ll find five Stars.

This puzzle room is located on the same sky island as the Stratus Shuffle puzzle. To access it, you must firstaccept the Cloud Cabins quest, which requiresreaching friendship level ten with Kiki.
Once you’ve met these conditions,use the Cloud Ride in the southeastern part of Cloud Island Plazato reach the sky island where the puzzle room is located. After arriving,head south immediately after stepping off the Cloud Ride, and you’ll find the puzzle room entrance.
How To Solve The Cumulus Comeabout Puzzle Room
When you enter this puzzle room, you’ll be greeted by three buttons and a red cube. First,place the red cube on the red button, then activate it to create an air current. Use your balloons tofly upwards.Once you’ve collected the yellow cube above,place it on the central purple button.
Next,place the red cube on the blue button.Follow the path ahead of the first yellow cube to find another yellow cube. Bring it over to the other cubes. Remove the red cube from the blue button andplace one yellow cube on the blue button and the other on the red button.
Take the red cube and carry it to the path ahead of the purple button.Place it near the purple cubesand activate it to collect the third yellow cube. Take this yellow cube andplace it on the purple button.
Finally,take the red cube and follow the pathyou created using the buttons to reach the end. At the end of the bridge made from purple cubes, place the red cube and activate it to reach the chest. Inside the chest, you’ll find a Decorative Gemstone Star Fragment Crafting Plans.

To reach the sky island where this puzzle room is located, you need tocomplete the ‘Catching a Cloudragon’ quest.you may receive this quest from Kiki; but before that your friendship level with him must be at least eight, andyour friendship level with Keroppimust be at least thirteen.
Additionally, before you can accept this quest, you must firstcomplete the ‘Magic Bubble Wand’and ‘Icy Recovery’ quests.Once you’ve completed ‘Catching a Cloudragon’ quest, you’ll gain access to the sky island where the puzzle room is located.
To get there,take the cloud ride in the southwest of Cloud Island Plaza.Then, hop across thesmall round platforms in the southwest part of the island, and you’ll find the entrance to the puzzle room.
How To Solve The Nimbus Navigation Puzzle Room
In this puzzle, your main objective is toplace three yellow cubes onto three yellow buttons.This will cause the stairs leading to the treasure chest to spawn, but accomplishing this won’t be so easy. To connect the platforms,the signs on them must be facing each other.
You can rotate these signs by pressing the white buttons. However, even after adjusting them, some connections may not form a proper bridge. Because of this, you’ll need to create the correct bridges to transport the cubes to their respective buttons.
The platform numbers in this puzzle are based on the table below; the game itself does not display platform numbers. You can determine each platform’s location by referencing the entrance and the treasure chest’s position.
