WhileHello Kitty Island Adventureis quite a cozy game for the most part, some segments in it can make you rack your brain. One of the major things making you do this is the puzzle rooms you’re able to find in every major region of the game, starting from the beginning.
Seaside Resort is the first area that you’ll encounter, and it has a total of five puzzle rooms. you may unlock most of these by having a companion run alongside you, but one of them also needs a Star Fragment.
Beginners Bridge Puzzle Room Guide
The first puzzle room you’ll enter will likely be after you talk to Chococat and get the task of finding Power Crystals. Two of these crystals will be in two separate puzzle rooms of Seaside Resort,with the first one being Beginners Bridge. This one is fairly straightforward.
Go near the cube on the left side of the gate where you spawn and you’ll be able to pick it up. Take it to the right side of the gate and place it down while you’re facing the pressure pad. This willunlock the stairs that lead you to a chestand you’re able to climb the dark purple wall on the left to get the crystal.
Crystal Conundrum Puzzle Room Guide
The second Power Crystal will be in the bottom left puzzle room in the main area called Crystal Conundrum, and the difficulty will spike up for this one. First, you have to pick up the cube on the pressure pad with a circle on it andplace it on the triangle pressure pad near the entrance.
Now, you can jump down to the bottom area, pick up the cube there, and bring it back up.Place the two cubes on both the circular platformsand the door to the crystal will open. After getting the crystal, you can jump down from the top part of the area with crystal and you’ll find a chest down below.
Use the dark purple wall near the chestto get back up and head out of the room.
Flipflop Flight Puzzle Room Guide
You’ll find the Flipflop Flight room just above the second one, andit’ll introduce you to a new type of cube. As you enter the room, pick up the red cube first and place it near the high ledge to the left of the entry door. Once placed,you’ll have an additional option on the bottom rightto activate its special mechanic.
Once activated, the cube will generate awind current that will let you glide up as you’re ballooning. Use this to get to the cube on the top left ledge. Then, you can place both normal cubes on each pressure plate and use the red cube near the ledge on the right to get to the main chest.
Button Bouncearound Puzzle Room Guide
This is likely the most challenging room in Seaside Resort, and you’re able to find it on the bottom left side. As soon as you enter, you’ll notice that there are three different types of gates. First, pick up thecube in the main area and place it on the circular plate, which will let you get another cube on the left.
Now, place both the cubes you have on the heart pressure plates toopen the middle door and get your hands on the third cube. Take this cube back to the main area and place it on the circular plate. Now, you’ll have both the heart and the top right circular door opened.
Head to the top right door and extract the fourth cube from there, whichyou can then place on the triangle plate.
Finally, bring the cube on the circular plate in the main area and place it on the other triangle plate,opening the final door and unlocking the chest.
Platform Passoff Puzzle Room Guide
The final room in Seaside Resort can be found on the secluded group of islands to the top right side of the area. This will require a star fragment to unlock, andyou’ll have to open the reserve in the swamp to get it. Once you have the fragment, you may run back to this room and you’ll be able to access it.
To solve it, first remove the normal cube from the plate andplace the green one deeper into the room on it. Take the normal cube all the way up the stairs to leave it there and jump back down. Now, take the green cube and place it in the first gap at the top before activating its special ability.
The green cube extends a pillar to the top andthen creates a bridge over the gap, so it’s important to place it correctly.
The bridge created by the green cube should completely fill the gap as you can’t jump with the cube in hand. Once you have the placement, use the dark purple wall to climb up and take the normal cube past the first gap. Repeat the process on the other gap and you can get the last puzzle room chest.
