The Dessert Machine islocated inside Pompompurin’s shop on Gemstone Mountain.This shop, simply called the Dessert Boat, is initially found at the very bottom of a dry lake, but after completing a quest calledRevive the Oasis,it will befloating near a dockright next to the fast-travel mailbox here.
Once you make it here, you’ll be able to freelyuse the machine by combining ingredients with a Cactus Cream.This is thebase item for every Dessert Machine recipe,which can be found in the areajust south of the Dessert Boat.It’s not the most common, so we’ve marked it on the map above as well.
If you have a Nul collector,they can gather 12 Cactus Creams a day.This is a great way to stock up on the item without spending time searching for them.
How To Reach Gemstone Mountain
After completingPower Up The Gate,you’ll be able to explore the beach area of Gemstone Mountain, but ascending to a higher level isn’t as simple. There are two main options that you’re able to use;repair the zipline from the Spooky Swamp, or find a rocky surface and attempt to climb.
The easiest way to get there in a straightforward manner is torepair the zipline through the quest A Zipline Adventure.To do this, you’ll also need to have alevel four friendship with Pochacco. After repairing the zipline from the Seaside Resort to the Spooky Swamp, you’ll then be able torepair the line going to a higher level of Gemstone Mountain.
You may also be able tofind a surface that is just rocky enough to climb.While this isn’t really an ‘official’ way to get here,you may climb and then hang out on a small rock until your stamina recharges.Here at TheGamer, we used this method. It took a few tries, butwe eventually got there.

Upgrading The Dessert Machine
Once you reachfriendship level 13 with Pompompurin,the Dessert Machine will upgrade. This allows you tocombine a Cactus Cream with two other ingredients (rather than just one).This upgrade doesn’t require you to complete any quests, so just be sure to give Pompompurin daily gifts.
At friendship level 15 with Pompompurin,you’ll get the crafting plans to make your own Dessert Machine, which requiresfive Sparks, ten Mechanisms, and 100 Cactus Creams.This personally machine can beplaced in cabins.

There are only a few recipes that have multiple ways to make them, but it’s still important to keep in mind thatthese will be displayed separately.For example, there will bethree recipe icons for Sweet Pudding; one for each method.Keep this in mind when looking at the recipe book;if you have something missing, it may be an alternate recipe.
Lastly, you can make two event-related Dessert Machine recipes. Witha Bubble and a Snowcicle, you can create the 50th Anniversary Shake,which is for the event celebrating Hello Kitty’s 50th Anniversary. The other recipe is for theBirthday Cake Shake,which is part of the Happy Haven Days event, requiringone Snowcicle and some Rainbow Sprinkles.
