Baking sweet treats, making yummy sodas, creating unique pudding flavors; these are all things you may do inHello Kitty Island Adventure! While restoring the island and growing your friendships, you’ll also be able to cook a wide variety of food used to both decorate and give as gifts.
Once you make it to Mount Hothead, you’ll gain access to the Pizza Oven, which is the main way to cook pizza in the game. In this guide, we are going to take a look at all you need to know about cooking pizza in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. This will also include where to find the Pizza Oven itself.
Where To Find The Pizza Oven
The Pizza Oven is right on themiddle layer of Mount Hothead,slightly to the right of the fast-travel mailbox here. If you have this mailbox, then simplyteleport to it and then follow the path eastward.The oven is outside on a stone platform, soyou don’t even need to head inside a building to start using it.
If you’ve never been to Mount Hothead before, don’t worry! In order to reach Mount Hothead, you’ll need tocomplete an early-game quest called Power Up The Gate.Once you’ve done this, you cancomplete the quest Finding Flippers, which unlocks swimming.
At this point, you canswim directly across the water until you reach the beaches of Mount Hothead.From this low level,you’ll be able to climb up to where the Pizza Oven and mailbox are.You’ll also find Retsuko nearby.
Retsuko isessential for pizza-making,as every pizza requires Dough. Fortunately,when you give Retsuko a gift,she’ll give you Dough in return.As such, it’s important togive her gifts in order to make more pizza.
The Pizza Ovendoesn’t require any quests to unlock!If you have the necessary resources,you can start cooking right away.
Upgrading The Pizza Oven
Upon cooking pizza for the first time,you’ll use Dough plus one other ingredient,but this ingredient number can eventually increase. When you reachfriendship level nine with Retsuko, the Pizza Oven will upgradeand pizzas can be made withtwo ingredients (in addition to Dough).
This will open up a bunch of new recipes, so be sure to try out new combinations!There aren’t the most amount of pizza options in the game,so be sure to try and cook them all.
When you reach level 15 friendship with Retsuko, you’ll be rewarded with theplans to make your own Pizza Oven that can be placed in cabins.To make this, you’ll needfive Sparks, ten Ingots, and 100 Dough.This is a lot, so be sure to continuously give Retsuko gifts each day.

Most of these recipes caneasily be made without progressing too far into the game;the only two hang-ups may beEggs and Moon Cheese,but just keep playing and progressing through the story, andyou’ll be able to find these ingredients.

If a pizza has more than one recipe, it will display as different entries in the recipe book. For example,Fruit Pizza has four different recipes, so this will look like four Fruit Pizza icons.This is important to keep in mind if you are missing just a few pizzas;it could be an alternate recipe that you forgot to cook.
While not always available (and therefore, not included on the table), you canuse Bubbles from the event for Hello Kitty’s 50th Anniversary to make a pizza.By combining a Bubble with either aCandy Cloud, Swampmallow, or Sugarkelp,you’re able to get the50th Anniversary Pizza Cookie.
